to paryt or not to party

the libra that i have decided to back off from is leaving for iraq on may 26th. a few of our co workers are giving him a going away party on sunday. he didn't invite me to go with him he just told me when it was. so is it appropriate for me to go? or will it be kinda uncomfortable for either one of us because our co workers don't know how close we really were.

Hmmmm, I'd ask him personally.

But ask it like "Are you expecting me to be there?" not like asking for his permission. "IS it alright if I come?" because he'll give it even if he doesn't want you there. A "Yes" or a "No" answer is what you need.

there will be food there.LOL! but i do think i will ask him. i know that there are quite a few women that we work with that will be hitting on him and i just don't want to seem obvious that it will in fact bother me. because
if you guys knew these women you would fully understand. they get boozed up and become really aggressive.
