Astrology and history hold some fantastic lessons about how to manage this cycle, however. And that's the whole point. By the time this Saturn in Scorpio cycle is over in your life, you may have potentially become an expert in an area of your world that demands you get real — and learn more.
DATES TO WATCH IN 2014 AND 2015 Saturn transits are always easier once this planet moves through the final third of the cycle, covering the last ten degrees of any sign. In the myth, Saturn had three life stages. Trapped by his father. Forced to eat his own children because of a curse. And finally, the Golden Age when he became a teacher.
Your Saturn Returns also rule one-third of your life. The first Saturn Return covers the first of three decades, to age 30. The second Saturn Return covers the second decade, from around age 30 through 60. The final Saturn Return ends the cycle, covering around age 60 through 90.
Saturn is moving from 20 Scorpio (into The Golden Age) from January through early May 2014, largely serving to give you a break. After that, the familiar frozen, slow or stuck situation returns. Yet from the end of September through the end of December you will have your second break, and by Christmas 2014 Saturn has changed signs. He returns briefly to Scorpio in mid 2015 but again, he is in the final third of the cycle."
well hopefully two people in our personal lives are going to get through saturn in Scorpio when it comes around. my mother in law's best friend, whom she travels with sometimes, has cancer, so she's going through chemotheraphy. We're rooting for her, and when saturn in Scorpio comes along, she makes it through!!!! also, what's even more new news, is that Leo Aunty has cancer, which is why she has that problem with her hip, and her body has been aching alot all over. it's just horrible news all around. So we're hoping and praying for her chemotherapy to be successful and when, Saturn in Scorpio comes along (because I swear that is the reaper of death!) then they're going to make it through the chemotherapy!
well our leo aunty has a new bathroom installed, and she is doing better with the medicine. she still has her hospital bed in the livingroom but they've found out she doesn't have bone cancer but it's another type. Thank god it's not bone cancer, i read that it's not curable and fatal.
June is coming up for saturn in Scorpio for one more round.
but Saturn in Sagittarius is going to be here AGAIN after saturn in Scorpio makes a 2nd coming.
"After spending two and a half years in Scorpio, on December 23rd 2014, Saturn will move into Sagittarius. Traditionally in astrology Saturn was known as the —greater malefic?? — in other words the planet associated with many bad things. And he's been in the sign of the zodiac which rules our fears, taboos, death and endings amongst other things! We also need to bear in mind that during his stay in Scorpio, Saturn has been in what we call —mutual reception?? with Pluto, Scorpio??s ruling planet, sitting in Saturn??s ruling sign of Capricorn. So, we say that these two planets have been —talking?? to one another. What has been the upshot of all this dialogue has been to show us what's really running our lives and what's been hidden —behind the curtains?? — especially around areas like government and the establishment. Scorpio and Pluto rule transformation while Capricorn and Saturn rule establishment and structure. So, what's been happening is in fact a monumental power struggle between the Rock and the Hard Case in fact! We may have seen this in our own lives where we have been forced to confront deep seated behaviours and fears and asked to transform them — or not. We've certainly seen this all play out (and continue to be played out) in the form of restrictions, austerity measures and hardships within the collective, as well as scandals involving prominent people and companies and efforts to curtain personal freedom. So, when Saturn makes a move into Sagittarius, what can we expect to happen next?
First of all, let's let go of the old —greater malefic?? nomenclature. Yes, Saturn imposes restrictions — but many astrologers now see him as the teacher who gives us something to push against to see what we are really capable of. A hard task master who nonetheless rewards us when we complete the assignment. In m
Because Pisces rules what exists but may not be seen, we will suddenly see things as they really are, and again, this can include what is at a distance being much closer — thus could even be a breakthrough in Quantum science or inter-planetary travel as the true nature of the universe and what we think of as —reality?? and time and space is now shown to be something else entirely. We can expect re-structuring of transportation on a more mundane level and animal rights issues may become even more of a —hot?? topic than before. What has been kept hidden from us — whether deliberately or just because we have not yet reached the level where we can see what's right in front of us, will now be shown for what it truly is, so expect secrets to come tumbling out. Sagittarius also has a knack of telling it like it is — which flies in the face of Capricorn??s and Saturn??s reticence. However, as far as Sag is concerned the truth will set you free. We may not like it, but that's what it is intended to do now
It is worth noting that Saturn will retrograde and move back into Scorpio from June 14 until September 17 2015, when it will finally leave Scorpio for good. The transformations it set in motion while in there may now complete and much less painfully than before. On some level there will now be no going back however as we step into a bigger, bolder new world to replace the old one."
"While Saturn transits Sagittarius our own levels of understanding within religious structures, widely accepted philosophies and traditions will be greatly challenged. Certain things tend get worse before they get better, so before awareness is raised a narrowing of vision may initially appear most evident during this time. The gurus and —Billy Grahams?? of the world will probably have a lot to say about that at this time. A marked rebellion will likewise rattle within the collective as whistleblowers continue to reveal both the corruption and vulnerability of those wielding and abusing ultimate authority. With the three-year Uranus Pluto square and Saturn??s exit from Scorpio, many protests, campaigns and boycotts have already been cropping up seemingly like out of control weeds, while governments have cracked down with the same levels of ferocity on those who opposed them. There may be a lot more of this yet to come.
Through more inflictions upon both innocent and guilty parties alike, people will eventually realize their corporate slavery in a very ancient battle that cannot be won through any ordinary means, and certainly not by outrage. What we need is greater knowledge. In this way, our similarities are greater than our differences as cultures, as races, and as those who have long conformed to various world views, wherever on Earth we may live. Winning together will call for extraordinary means that combine willpower, clarity, compassion, love, precision, and an inner form of discipline that tempers the emotions and enables us to unite as family rather than tear each other apart as enemies."
Your aptitude speaks a lot about how this transit will affect you. With transiting Saturn to natal Neptune conjunction, you may be forced to process the interaction between your wishes, hopes and expectations and realism/reality on this physical realm. An actual reality check in the proper sense of the expression, since this is precisely what Saturn, the cosmic teacher, likes to do. Your Faith, or lack thereof, your Spiritual beliefs, will also be addressed.
This will be a chance to observe whether or not your beliefs manifest in reality, how and to what extent you??re able to give a concrete foundation to your ideals and release your imagination into the physical plane; your approach to Spirituality (which I believe is an important part of your Life since you??ve ended up on this blog 🙂 ) might also grow into a more mature outlook, and thus you??re going to attract experiences that will trigger this kind of transformation, evolution and maturation. Saturn squaring your Venus suggests you still have important points to tackle in the relationships department.
I am soon going to experience this as well, my Venus being in Virgo too. And I know I will need to set better boundaries for myself and get more serious and determined about what I really want in a relationship.
I think this may apply to you whether you??re in a committed relationship or not. Virgo is a very ruminating, doubtful sign, so Saturn might infuse your Venus with the confidence she needs to make her own steps towards happiness, forcing you to take responsibility for what you really, really want. Transiting Saturn opposing your Natal Saturn is one of those times when an individual is usually presented with the harvest of what he or she has sown.
I find it to be rather significant how Saturn is associated with time, which follows a linear progression on our physical, material plane, so the straight axis of this opposition is very symbolical in this regard.
Again, the cosmic teacher will test your wisdom and the level you have reached through your experience. Old lessons from your past, issues you??ve been tackling your whole Life, typical Saturn issues, will stand face to face with your current level of development, so again what you will witness in this case might not be new
she goes through the birthdays, and mentions the ascendants, moons, and planets in mutable feels it more intense. younger people feel more responsible for this.
"Buckle up the belt, get serious, mature." "if you are trying to outwit fate, you won't do it. saturn won't let you." "Pessimistic planet, and gives you a reality check."
saturn has returned to Scorpio again, for another round. till mid september.
the last few years during saturn in Scorpio, we saw alot of deaths around us, alot of people we knew who knew people and their own family members, friends, had passed away. There were alot of deaths and passing. I'm gonna be paying attention to these things now since last year, there were so many tragedies.
quote "Gut level —sixth sense?? feelings will be running high, so if something feels wrong, it IS wrong. Don't wait for external evidence to appear or for logic to catch up. It may take every last drop of our energy to remain vigilant to avoiding detrimental power dynamics.
Guilt trips are particularly effective way of bending people to someone's will, so remain sharply on the lookout for such ploys. One nice thing about Saturn returning to Scorpio this summer is that it temporarily breaks up the Saturn square to Neptune in Pisces, which should make it easier to detect the subtler meaning behind verbal exchanges, to detect what is really being implied, especially if what is being implied is much different than the official line. Avoid forming alliances that seem to be based out of guilt or projections of responsibility that aren't really there.
Doing the right, responsible thing in financial matters will be particularly crucial. As the dust settles from the seventh and final square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn, people will began to fully assess the damage and expectations for the future will have to reflect the sobering reality"
"What are we likely to see with Saturn in Sagittarius? For one thing, a continued decline in the necessity of a college education. Apprenticeship programs and career-oriented technical schools will continue to grow, probably many of them connected to corporations. Two year colleges will probably also increase in popularity - teaching basic writing skills and focusing on pre-professional education.
Online education is sure to change, as well. It's already been demonstrated that quality education can happen in an online environment, and the appeal is sure to be strong because the online programs reduce cost to schools. Ironically, many of the programs now taught online are likely to disappear, as they are less vocationally-oriented. There will be concerns about professional degrees online, too — especially as professional licensing is often done at the local level (would an online program based in California make you eligible for license in New York?).
