I was talking in another post in this room about this old broad that was sitting on my bed one night when i was like five. she was old, ugly, bony, and scary. She was pointing at me for some reason and she had really long nails. Well i'll tell ya, Ive never run so fast in my entire life to get away from something. My parents swore that I was dreaming but she was as real a person to me as any other person. It was no dream.

Now here's the question. Has anyone else seen her and if you have, what in the world did she want? Why does she visit?

i did tell her to go away and i pushed her. her little ugly ass fell off my bed and i havent seen her since. but i dont get what her problem is. who invited her to come and sit on my bed in the middle of the night. she doesnt visit in the morning or come for lunch like regular people. oh no. she gets this idea that she needs to come and scare the piss out of you in the middle of the damn night. if i could go back in time, i'd slap the hell out of her!

Mine come when I'm over-tired. If I go prolonged periods of time without sleep, then surly, I will get sleep paralysis. Some have offered reasons for this condition, such as out-of-body experiences, alien abductions, demons .. but, once I started paying attention to my sleep patterns within this aspect, I discovered that if I get a regular amount of scheduled sleep daily .. it doesn't happen.

So, I'm leaning towards believing that the cause is actually a sleep deprivation of some sort .. not enough REM perhaps, and when we alter the regulation of sleep, it throws a chemical imbalance within our sensory perceptions and causes our brains to momentarily lose connection between wakefullness and slumber.

In essence .. it's an actual sleeping dream while in a lucid state of consciousness.

she looked pretty damn real to me. i think i have had this sp though but when i do, i usually can't move and can't talk and i see moving shadows and the silence that i hear is deafening. maybe that could come from sleep deprivation, i could certainly understand how as an adult, i may not get enough sleep. but i was like five. Five years old get plenty of sleep. your parents make you go to sleep when it's still light outside, how could you not get enough sleep at five? the old ugly broad was sitting on my bed like it was hers. looking at me like i had disturbed her sleep or something. I thinking no this winch didnt come and visit me at night. she know she needs to schedule an appointment for during the day. she knows i have to be up early in the morning to catch Pee Wee's Playhouse and she gonna come waking me up. See? damn SP has no respect for what you got planned the next day.
