BLUNT BLUNT

First of all happy new year, it's been a while.

Okay, on to the public service announcement:

To all the blunt people out there, who pride themselves on how "Real" they are and stuff: I love you.

But let's get really Real.

There's being a BLUNT (as in blunt object) blunt person and there's being someone who's blunt but SHARP and I gotta tell you some of you fall into the former category.

And even though not thinking ahead makes for a spontaneous character, it stops being funny and endearing when your shit affects other people.

It's simple, every once in a while before you do that thing that's probably going to turn out to be a stupid move just think.

Foresight: it's free, you know.

Hear, hear! I love blunt people but there's a limit and the key to being succesfully blunt is a little word called diplomacy

I mean, it's not that hard to consider how someone else might feel when you say something, ESP if it's something they need to hear. Other times the direct approach works because the shock of the observation hits right on target and the person recovers from the shock alot quicker and yeah shooting straight from the hip works sometimes.
