Ok I go to a salon that had great reviews on this internet site and when I got to the salon it was anything but great! The woman who was suppose to do my hair was backed up so she sent another woman to me. The woman that was suppose to do my hair didn't come over and say anything to me, like hi, I'm sorry I'm a little behind do you mind if so and so can do your hair, I mean nothing. So I have pictures of the color and cut I want. I show this woman the picture of the color and she goes and grab the color pamplets and ask me what color would I like!. I'm like thats why I brought the picture this is the color I want. She goes and comes back with a little cup of color and I have a full head of hair. I told her that would not be enough so not even half way through she had to stop and go mix some more and she still didn't have enough but since I was getting a cut I told her never mind. When it was time for her to cut she could not cut by looking at the picture. She kept asking me questions which its ok to ask questions but she had no clue how to cut the style that was on the picture at all! So I talked her through it and we ended up at a fair medium which isn't what I wanted but I knew she didn't know what the heck she was doing so I stopped her before she could cause any major damage. The color is no where near the color I wanted but its dark so I can live with it. I kept telling her how I wanted it style d this way and that way and she insisted on doing it her way until I got a little firm and let her know I was trying to be nice but please do not tick me off. I can live with the way my hair looks but it was not what I wanted. Please do not trust reviews they give on websites. Go and meet with the stylist. Get a feel for the salon make sure they have lots of experience in doing whatever service you're requesting and ask to see pitures of other clients they've done too.
