so here's the thing, I just woke up from the most awful nightmare. basically, in the dream, i'm at work, and i'm helping customers and all of a sudden the store gets all big. i can't explain it, but it just gets all big. And I'm talking to customers and they all have weird, devil-like voices, all deep and scratchy, and so do all my coworkers. Then, this really good looking male customer comes in, and he's standing on the other side of the counter and then this tree thing sprouts up between us, and some jungle-y looking vines, and we sit down together on the ground, and the jungle stuff begins to grow all around us. so now i'm in the jungle sitting there with this guy. then his eyes turn to a really light shade of green, and his hair grows. then he sort of assumes the praying position, and i get the sensation of being shot up into the sky really fast and high. and then, when i get into the sky, it's like the ground rises up to my eye level, and here is the very scary and upsetting part (can you tell i'm upset to have woken up and immediately felt the need to post this?)--i would estimate about twenty huge dagger-like knife things shoot up out of the ground, and blood is spurting everywhere. but there was no visible source of the blood, except for the knives. and in the background (shudder), i hear the most horrible, awful, loud screaming you could imagine, and it sounded like multiple people were screaming. at this point in the dream i was so freaked out, i was trying to wake myself up, i knew i was dreaming. and the whole time in the dream (and this part i think is because earlier in the day i had been thinking to myself how much i liked it and also because i listened to it on my lunch break) that song, "dance of the mummers" or "the mummer's dance" or whatever the hell it's called, anyway it was playing in the background of the entire dream. this was like, worse than most horror films i've seen, i can't explain it, the tone of it was just really evil.

someone comfort me. lol.

p.s., from talking to people in real life a lot, i've found that i have generally more nightmares than your average person. i don't understand why this happens to me. i'm a very cheerful person in real life, or at least i try to be. when i have dreams like this, they almost make me feel sick. as if i am inherently evil or something, otherwise these images and sounds would not be in my brain. i don't have dreams of killing people, or anything like that. it's usually stuff like this--weird images and super scary sounds and distortions. i'm really disturbed by the whole thing.

the other night i had a nightmare that my store was invaded by leeches, big orange ones that slithered on the ground. and i had to run from them.

WOW

those dreams of yours are haunting you.

i had a similar exp.
when i was in a relationship where i didn't really want because there was something missing (did not really love this girl), but i was stickin it out for reasons that i felt sorry for this girl. so, anyways i had constant dreams every night of being trapped in a hole or crack in the side of a mountain and i could see all the people play on the beaches having fun. i see my arms entwined with all the roots from trees up above. and suddenly there was an earthquake and the mountain i was imprisoned at was suddenly closing down, and crushing me to my death, then i wake up most of the time.

well the week after all those nightmares, i broke it off and... since then i never had those nightmares ever again.

I give you my comfort.

I used to have nightmares where i'd be afraid to go back to sleep- up until about 12 or so. Now, I have nightmares and they're more like thrillers that I find funny in my sleep.

The other night I dreamt that I was in a dorm with a girl and two guys and that there were wolves in the pasture behind us. A guy and I were joking and howled outside and got a bunch of return howls and suddenly all the wolves appeared but especially these two big brutes the size of horses-alpha males I guess. Well next thing I know the pub/club everyone goes to has been taken over by demons who buried tons of people up to their armpits in the ground and walk over them (sort of like Norse mythology) and put people in these machines that strip them of their meat and grind up their bones (very interesting invention I might add). And I was a slave being forced to work teh machines and then we sat down to eat and all they had was ground pork or ground corn beef and that was the scary part lol. If you read all this I congragulate you 🙂

What an incredible dream Pheonix! I am a believer that dreams are messages. You are not evil, I would say highly intuitive. Your dream..well I will give a shot at interpretation here. The store growing larger can either be literal (you sometimes feel overwhelmed in you job), the customers distorted voices are an extension of the worry and your need to please them. Or the store and it's largeness could be yourself. The fact that it was growing means that you yourself are growing and perhaps in a spiritual sense. The distorted voices could be spirits trying to talk to you in your dream..yet you have a fear of them and thats why it is not clear. The good looking guy could be a spirit who has been sent to you to calm you and make you feel comfortable, hence the jungle growing. He was there to tell you something. Him praying and shooting upwards would indicate his message to you that he is one of your spirit guides. He wanted to share with you what was to come. The screaming, blood, daggers, all
suggest this coming war. Whether you are hearing the screma of ppl from afar (b/c you can't see anyone) or ppl from your own continent, I am unsure. You have a further role hear for the future. I was once told that living ppl often astral travel to help the dying cross over. I believe he was preparing you to do this. Don't be afriad of your dreams. Think of them as abstract movies that you have to think about and work out what it all means. Once you embrace them, you may have the same type of dreams, but you should not feel threatened by them and feel more in control.

Once I had a dream where everything was extremely bloody... There was just blood everywhere, as if it had been raining blood. Surprise surprise, I was dreaming that one of my good freinds had turned into a vampire... Of course, he wasn't trying to hurt me (it seems that someone had bitten me anyway, and I was going to turn into a vampire so he just figured it was a waist of time to go after me) only trying to kill his brother, whith me trying to stop him... It was an interesting dream, scary, but interesting... I was trying to figure out how to stop myself from turning into a vampire at the same time I was trying to stop him from killing his brother and trying to help him get his... errr... blood lust undercontrol.

I always wind up having dreams (I suppose some of them could be considered nightmares, but they're not really scary to me so I won't call them that) where there's something hunting someone and everything starts falling apart and I wind up having to put everything back to gether...

I wonder why we dream about blood and agony, and for me every once and a while about zombies taking over the world and dead bodies chained under the water where they drowned... And all sorts of other wierd things like skeleton demons that hunt my family... Though usually, I'm not alone in trying to fight them, I usually have allies (like rebel organizations, just random people who are in the same situation as I am in the dream, lions, and angels). Oh well... I pretty sure, for some reason, that when you dream about conflict between good and evil, you're never dreaming alone. There's too many outside forces.
