OMG you guys!

My ex David is truly stalking me, he was seen three times throughout the night outside my apartment watching to see what I may be doing! We broke up a while ago and he seemed fine with the seperation, and now I am hearing reports from different people in my apt. complex that he has been seen off and on all along. This is getting to wierd for me to handle.

What should I do about it? Is there anything I can do about it? Do I need Proof? How do I get that, is the word of the people that have informed me of the facts enough to get a restraining order? Should I contact a womens shelter, just how much trouble am I an here? I posted an thread earlier about this situation if you need further details. k

At this point it's just hear say so I doubt it's restraining order evidence.The most the cops will most likely do is go question him at this point but maybe thats all you will need if it is true to scare him from doing it anymore.The people saying those things will probably have to talk to the cops too so they can decide if it's just rumors because maybe they don't like the guy.

Thanks for the your take on the subject. The person in question was seen outside my balcony window from my apartment just watching us at two different times during a particular day. That is why I was kind of freaked out because I had not received any current contact from the person watching for almost a week. I dont know quite what to make of his behavior, or what he may be up to.

He was very controlling of me when we were involved and does not seem like the kind to just give up and fade away like he seemed to do lately. I am just being careful and covering all my bases just in case, as he also has an extreme anger problem. (I have seen this anger many times displayed in his behavior). When we start thinking that someone that says they love us more than anyone else they have ever known can not, or will not harm us we let our guard down and sometimes trajic things happen because of that.

I have an inner gut feeling that this person is capable of things thay may not even be aware of within themselves. I have seen them mistreat others in a disrespectful and harsh manor using degrading and foul language. This was the guys boss, now go figure that one out. And he has not been told to take a walk by the employer, I just dont understand some of it at all. But I have heard it with my own ears. He is prone to sudden violent outbursts of anger and that is a sure fire recipie for nothing good to come.

Yeah,still keep a guard up just in case,ya know locking doors,windows and all the other precautions.It's just the fact that the cops may not be much help until he's either admitted to it,someone who sees him doing it calls them while it's happening,etc.You sould probably tell the people to call them when they see him doing it which will probably be enough to prove it to the cops if they call as it's happening.
