With suspension of work, distractions, and obligations - what's you preferred time frame for sleeping?

I've read that one's circadian rhythm will vary several times over the course of life. Making your preferred times for sleeping and waking to change.

I think my Z catching prime time would be from the hours of 12AM-8AM. If I don't start winding down in preparation to zonking out at midnight, I end up catching an extra wind and the time period jumps for more of a 3AM-11AM deal. Either way I really really really prefer getting 8 hours normally.

Further. How well do you function when unable to attain your preferred sleep habit?

____Side Note____

I read that that depriving yourself of sleep, not over an extended period, just like one night. Will cause your brain to produce a compensatory amount of dopamine in two parts of your brain- striatum and thalamus.

Dopamine = One of four mood controlling neurochems - this one is released from pleasure center of noggin.

Some other things that signal dopamine release = Orgasms & chocolates.

So if you're dieting and (or) don't have the opportunity to get laid, fear not. A good sleepless night will give you a quick fix. ha.

For best results try all three of the above dopamine triggers.
