I have a Scorpio moon in that house, i'm also a Virgo Ascendant.

Meditation & Yoga- Daily every day.

I also cut out stimulants about 4 ago. No Caffeine, i quit smoking- which suuuucked. I try to avoid sugar at all costs- Unless it's in fruit of course. 🙂

Not sure if the two are related- but i stopped eating meat 2 years ago and became vegan ( I was already lactose intolerant) Again not sure if that one is relevant to silencing the brain- but it stopped my reoccurring tummy aches.

Um I read ALOT- There is also an app i've been obsessed with for the past year -It allows users to write and expand on what others have written. You will have full novels written by 50 different people. It's kinda cool.

Also - Just having alot of "obsessions" Outside of work- i think that helps to keep me sane.

gaming, drawing, panting, playing with my makeup (im a makeup artist) I just got a new guitar for my birthday over the summer so i've been tinkering with that. - and then of course! Comes the intense research that those obsessions bring. Hours upon hours on google, reading articles etc :p

and if all else fails- I have a boyfriend i can poke at :p

I have a Gemini-heavy chart with Leo Moon in the 3rd house and I honestly didn't even know this was a 3rd house thing, but it makes sense as I'm that way 24/7 and have been for as long as I can remember. For me, daily yoga helps a lot, and lifting weights regularly makes an even bigger difference. Having a lot of outlets, both physical AND mental help to ensure my mind doesn't run itself into the ground just sitting around and overthinking. I also cut out caffeine/stimulants and meat/dairy several years ago and it definitely makes me more at peace.

Thank you for all the replies here. I really appreciate it.

I'm struggling a lot in falling asleep as my mind never goes blank or quiet. I have committed into cutting off coffee (even though I only drink 8 oz of it daily, if that). I have started to drink just tea starting last Sunday and see how it goes.

I exercise daily. I do daily yoga, walk and recently I add T25 because I feel that if I'm tired enough, I'll fall asleep faster. BUT the hard part is in clean eating. This week I aim to do good, I cooked in the weekend and planned my food. Cross fingers!

I start to turn off my phone after 7 pm cause people often call me regarding their dramas and that also tend to cause me sleeps.

I multitask a lot. The way to relax for me is to play online scrabble, online chess game, fav shows on tv, simultaneously.

I wish I can be like my husband. He worries about absolutely nothing. He can fall asleep anywhere.

Being mercurial helps in my career but the problem is that I can't switch it off.

I had never thought about it before either, but I have a third house aries moon. I feel like I'mconstantly thinking of at leat 6 topics at one time. I'll have 30 plus tabs open on my browser at any given moment becaues I constantly am opening new links and reading other articles.

It's difficult for me to sit through movies and sports without a book or my phone to read. My boyfreind hates it, he just doesn't understand that my mind is constantly going 100 miles an hour and needs the stimulation.

On the other hand, I get overwhelmed very easily if the ENVIRONMENT is hectic. Certain restaraunts that get rowdy or loud are too overstimulating and cause me anxiety. Same thing going to concerts, state fairs, etc.

I wouldn't consider myself shy or antisocial, but I am a quiet person; more of an observer. I'm very opinionated but I don't like to share my opinions and get into debates. I do however love deep discussoins where I can share ideas with people who want a back and forth flow to a conversations rather than a debate. I'm very good at explaining things and sharing knowledge (very thid house ish) I have been told I'd make a pretty great teacher 🙂

I also have Mercury and Sun in Pisces in the third house.
