GREAT NEW rock song. It's actually called "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" and it's by this really odd band called The Darkness. Watch the video on launch.com (you know, they should really pay me for all my promoting. lol) It's a great song.
A Thing Called Love
And while we're on the subject, I also love "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by Jet. I do believe real rock, a la Zeppelin is on its way back. 🙂
I'm really liking this band Jet. They have another good song, "Take it Or Leave It". Good stuff.
I also really like Fastball's "Ocean" (both the song and the video). Are they rock, really though? I think they're somewhere in between rock and pop.
Also for good new rock music, everyone (who likes rock) should check out "Maps" and "Date With The Night"...I like their musicality a lot; they're very unusual and it's good when a band comes along that doesn't sound like every other band.
Ooops, forgot to say the name of the BAND that does those songs! lol - they're called Yeah Yeah Yeah.
Wooohooooo...we got a new looped cd @ work and guess what it has on it! "A THING CALLED LOVE" and "ARE YOU GONNA BE MY GIRL" (among many others, but those are the coolest. 😛 I had to control myself from breaking out in dance the other day when I heard em.

Jet's good. the darkness kind of freak me out >>; with the purple monsters and the squid in space and such.
lol, freaks me out a little too. That could be why I like it, though. 😛

I'm so excited! It's September 2nd at the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon. I hope he sings some old stuff...like..."Octopus's Garden"...or just anything from the Beatles. He's such a cutie pie! I hope he drums.

I went thru a stage...in high school...need I say more? I liked the guy & the band a great deal and thought they were pretty revolutionary in what they were saying. I may not hold him/them in such high esteem these days, but I definitely think that he/t
I like him quite a bit. His voice is *extremely* soothing to me...I am immediately calm when I hear his music. Does anyone else like him?
