It's funny really. I bet Madonna wouldn't go down on a girl, but she'll use them and lesbianism to make a buck. Bad publicity. I bet she'd DIE if a real lesbian approached her, lol.

I agree with all above posts. Tongue is tacky unless it is done well, and with sincerity. And who really cares who kisses who! It's still an exchange of bodily fluids... And also, the media still tries to sensationalise homosexuality.

That's my 2 cents worth!

MTV has always pushed "the envelope", which is fun and daring and exciting when you're a young teenager and such...and then you grow up and realize you're just a way for the suits to make money, plus you're watching vapid meaningless teeny bopper nonsense crap and it's rotting your brain. The following are my opinions...MTV is trash, 99 percent of the time. I have actually seen a few documentaries on the channel that were well done, had a message, actually improved society, etc. But for the most part, they've gone not only downhill but into the trenches. I was not allowed to watch MTV until I was 14, in my house. And that was "way back then" (lol...okay, seven years ago) when it wasn't as bad as it is now. OF COURSE I snuck it and watched it...and didn't see much wrong with it, because I was a teenager and didn't have a clue about anything. I think it's destructive to youth who don't have parents to guide them and instead are getting their guidance from MTV. "No Wonder" the world is full of people with no clue, a sense of entitlement, no class, i.e no idea how to be ladylike or gentlemanly, blah blah blah, I could go on. MTV really isn't the problem though; the problem is people who have children who don't want to take the time to actually raise them, and just plop them in front of a tv with some junk food and go about their merry way, then wonder why their kid is on an episode of Rikki Lake, entitled "I'm Fourteen, Pregnant and Stripping For A Living!" lol...I didn't mean to go off on a tangent, but I have a lot of thoughts on the state of the youth today. Peeling myself away from the computer now... 🙂

Yep, MTV is a station. Network, even...maybe. It began in like....1981. Yes. The year I was born. And progressively, it's gotten more and more racy, but these days, it's like nothing is racy anymore because it's all been done. MTV, I will say, is not all bad. They do have a couple of shows they play every now and then, like, "TRUE LIFE" (a documentary- style show that follows young people around and has a new topic each time, like, "TRUE LIFE: MY PARENTS ARE DRUG ADDICTS". They're only good for this reason, though: they show young people what's out there. And some would argue it's detrimentaly *because* of that fact. (The world is full of bad already, why should we fill kid's minds with even more images of disparity etc)...

MTV also has like this..."You're Watching Rock" hour, or something, that I happen to catch sometimes. I do like to see what new rock music is out there, because frankly I find rock music to be a lot less disgusting than rap and hip hop and what ever...plus I like rock music. It's one of the few things I'll watch on that station.
