Does anyone like their new song? I think its awful, everyone says it grows on them. But it hasnt grown on me yet.
New Metallica
I must have missed it. The Rock Power hour isn't usually on when I'm in my car. What's the title?
St. Anger

Metallica's old. They're trying to act young. They're also neither AC/DC or The Stones, who can almost pull the trick off. Or Aerosmith- I KNOW they can pull it off.
Josh.. I can't wait until the day you hear.. "And now friends, some vintage tunes from the Golden Oldie Era.. the 90's and double aughts'" (00) etc. 😉
Espernaut, I think we are almost there.
Josh, another band that can pull it off is Kiss, now im not the biggest Kiss fan but every time they do another farewell tour they sell out stadiums and stuff.

That guy's tongue scares me. A lot.
Guys who look like that and sell out stadiums scare me. But I do love a couple of their songs. Personally, I'd like to see a Van Halen tour-- now they were a good hair band!
Van Halen were Hair?? I thought Poison, Ratt, etc.. but not VH.. say it ain't so!!
Well, maybe not Van Halen as a whole but David Lee Roth definitely, I think he inspired a lot of the hair bands in the 80's.
And now.. he's lost most of it I hear.. Hair Care for Men with Elton and the rest, I imagine. About Kiss.. yup, I admit, I liked some of their stuff.. and the attitude. Their gimmick (sounds tiny when you say it that way) with the costumes, super boots, etc.. brought them to everyone's attention. Who esle? Alice and Marilyn Manson (the latest?)
I have noticed that bands are getting younger (starting younger) and leaving sooner. I think record companies are getting desperate for new talent. Most of the major bands are retired, or will be shortly. (retired from touring / new albums, etc.) It seems more solo acts now to me.

What are your favorite songs that sort of define your teenage years? Sometimes I hear something on the radio and I think, "oh my gosh, I remember exactly what was going on in my life and how old I was when that was popular". But I definitely have favori

is anyone else out there obsessed with music from this decade? I think it's one of the best decades in music history. And I love disco. I also love all the folk songs, like anything by james taylor, carole king, carly simon, the list goes on.
radio stations just annoy me so much.
-they all have commercials on at the same time
-you only notice the radio noise when the commecials are on, never when the music is on
-the music is all repetitive-never anything new
