Pisceans are the "wateriest" of the water signs.. extremely fluid and adaptable. Pisces/Neptune/12th House all symbolize vast limitlessness - without boundry or limitation. They represent ALL depths and DEPTH itself.

Myself, I - love - and appreciate the vast, visual, tactile beauty of waters from a distance, but that's about it. I'm a very dry-docked EARTH Grand Triner and prefer to keep my feet FIRMLY planted on higher ground and find such 'security' much more calming, soothing, peaceful at the end of the day. I also consider myself *highly spiritual, thoughtful & deep...

Neither of the three is "shallow" as a sign.

But to me, most "shallow water" of the three is Cancer. Crabs hide and prey under rocks of a beautiful tropical beach and among the coral reefs, as the moon brings the tides into motion.

Pisces swim in the everblue ocean of wisdom, among the oceanic life, in schools of tuna, bands of sharks, and the ever-migrating long living whale colonies.

The Scorpio is a pitch black realm of bioluminescent creatures of the deep, and the hidden secrets at the earth's submerged crust. It's a realm where the light doesn't shine and water pressure rules.

Crabs actually can live on sandy beaches, shallow waters to burrowing under the sand at bottom of the ocean.
Living in and out of water. Not sure how they got delegated to solely living under rocks on the beach.

Pretty much my experience with Cancers, we start of appearing aloof, surface; which is why we strongly attract air/fire sometimes.
Then once we start to trust you; we show a much deeper passionate side.
Pretty much when the relationship with Air signs start to fizzle out. LOL

I'm not shallow, why would I call myself that? I don't have any trauma involving water that I can remember. So as a water sign it confuses me--- I don't go to the shallow end of anything. The pool, the river, the ocean--- . I feel inadequate as a water sign. I do love hearing the ocean and watching the waves. I become very mesmerised, almost hypnotic if it makes any sense. It draws me in and then I begin to hyperventilate if I get too deep... It makes me upset.
