I'm back from my trip so here's the result. Just a short recap for those who didn't read my original post...I won a free trip for two to Greece. my family and close friends had to turn it down so i ended up taking my hot gemini co-worker/former crush only to a) find out later on that he got back with his ex-gf and b) wonder about how be able to have my own fun on the vacation (aka hooking up) with my male companion's constant presence, especially since we had to share a room for this trip.

Well I finally met the girlfriend. She is the one who took us to the airport. I could sense the hesitation and the doubt but she was trying to be cool about it. I wanted her to feel at ease and not to worry. I told her I would look out for him and I meant it. In the days leading up to the trip, we spent increasing time together to make plans for the trip and in that time, we became close, like a brother and sister. I had no plans of stealing him away.

It turned out that not only did we have to share a room together, we had to share a bed through most of the trip, only for 2 nights did we have two beds instead of one. Even then, if there was any awkwardness, we did not voice it to each other. At no point did we get physical beyond leaning on each other to fall asleep during the plane rides, and we respected each other's privacy and space, even when we got drunk. His gemini evil twin reared its ugly head once in a while and at those times I wanted to hit him over the head with a baseball bat, but I dealt with that with patience and without emotion and we did just fine. We actually travelled pretty well together, especially considering that we were gone for over 2 weeks.

So moral of this story...I worried for nothing and we had a great time. Did I end up hooking up? Sadly no 😢 We were there in off-season so the pickings were slim. I had my pick of old greek fishermen and horny shop keepers but I kept them at bay 😛

And in case you are wondering, Greece was beautiful. Like a dream!
