Deal Breakers

So today I had this really interesting lunch/pow-wow with my coworkers and I found out that one of my female collegues has a husband who watches cartoons like a 5 year old, and is really into Japanese Anime-in addition to playing video games. Needless to say I was throughly disgusted...but it got me thinking about "deal breakers" here are some of mine and I would love to read from anyone who has strong dislikes!

1. Snoring
2. Men who are substantially younger
3. Has no idea whats going on in the world
4. Emotional like a woman
5. Loud
6. Flashy
7. Primarily listens to rap music
8. Money lover (this should actually be tied with snoring)
9. Has an evil nature like most Scorpio's (so basically scorpio's are deal breakers lol)

All you have stated here is that this husband watches Cartoons "like a five year old" and is "really into Japanese Anime in addition to playing video games."


Do you have evidence that he engages in these interests to the point where it has damaged other aspects of his life? Or are you and your coworker simply writing him off because you dislike his interests.

For a person to have a flaw, an involuntary body function, a different taste, style or desire, different interests, or their financial situation wouldn't be anything that would be a deal-breaker for me.

The only thing that comes to mind when I think of this is a person who is guided by their ego, and tries to make impressions = not being real.

Its not that serious Bottomfeeder-this post was meant to be fun. I often tell my friends and family that if God came down from the heavens and said "This is the man I have chosen for you....but he snores" I would say "Thank you God....but no thanks!"

I guess you all are super serious all the time. So I'll just go back to trolling the boards and posting randomly. Thanks for the replys!

If you love somebody .. then you find cuteness in their quirks.

If you don't love them ... then their little quirks are irritating.

Hmmm....deal breakers

Cheating (see ya, your shit's on the lawn, and I hope I broke a bunch of it when I dropped it from the roof)

Emotional abuse (POOF! I've disappeared!)

Physical abuse (Meet Mr. Bat, and my tall, muscle-bound male friend who is totally going to kill you now)

Constantly out of work (See the note next to "cheating")

Other than that, I can accept just about anything if I love someone.

That list is good, but not deal breaker material IMO. More like an annoyance.
