The poster is/was involved with a man who took a break from her, she'd been trying to contact him, to no avail, and now, because she knows how she is due to past experiences, she's afraid that she will lose the desire to keep trying to make it work through patience and effort which ultimately will cause her to move on with her life and with each passing feel less of a loss because out of sight is out of mind?
Ok, is she or he the pisces? I think that Pisces never get tired of waiting for the one they want to be with. I do however believe Pisces take breaks (swim or run away) from their mates when they are not ready to or simply can't deal with a rising issue. If taking breaks is a pattern then the above applies.
Absence might make some hearts fonder but not the MIA kind of absence. The only thing that is going to do is bring the quote above from thoughts to actions. IMO 😢

Juicy .. this is a common trait for Pisces. However, the difference between Gemini and Pisces is this ....
Gems get bored, as you've mentioned, I guess because a lot of excitment is needed to keep the interest flowing .. whereas Pisces ..
Once the connection is broken .. we're done. Boredom isn't really an issue .. inertia isn't a forgiegn state to the Fish. We can sit idle for eons.
However, once there has been a cut within our cord which connects us to another person ..... they are erased from our minds. Now, this cord of connection doesn't necessarily mean a seperation from somebody, for we can live our lives away from someone we love, while still maintaining the same endeared feelings. However, if the chemistry is gone .. then we swim away and this other person isn't even a thought in our minds, because we erase them from memory.

We care not .. if you don't care about us
If you (people) don't show care that we care about you .... then you no longer exist.
