What I do before each session I close my eyes. I say a little prayer for healing for the persons highest good and I ask for protection. Once I see the visualization of white light around me I than proceed with the session.

Sea salt has been used for protection in many instances. People use it seal protection in a house by sprinkling in windows and door ways. Putting salt under table can do the same. If you get someone who really drains you cold water and sea salt help cleanse it away.
