Hmmmmm that is one very insightful question. My and only my answer is.....I don't know. What I do know is that I am responsible for creating my life by my choices and whatever action I take, there will be a reaction. Each moment is just that, a moment and that moment that is given to us is what we get to create. And, when it is all over, said and done as we know it on this earth....we can look back and either be grateful for the life we created or have many regrets of choices we didn't make (due to fear).

This is my take on my adventure here....I am looking forward to seeing others views on this topic....

Free choice and pre~written progress....how do those two add up? Just a thought.

Next!

LOL. . . OK, this is going to be an intersting flow of logic on my part. . .

The answer to your question is: IT DOESN'T MATTTER ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.

Think about it like this. If we dont have a predestined fate, then we do our best to create our lives. If we do have a predestined fate, we still do our best to create our lives. But it doesn't matter, because in the end we're still doing our best to create our lives. If we do have a predestined fate, then it predestines us to do our best to create our lives. In the end, the answers all balance eachother out. That's why no one will ever be answer that question. Both answers work out the same way.

I guess that?s it; only the girls dared to speculate about destiny. Now I?d like to put up a heavier Q: Do you believe (as most monotheism religions preach) in afterlife for eternity? The reason for my asking is because I?m terrified of that promise - to live forever - and forever... I?m not concerned about the conditions, fire or/else cloudsitting and harpplaying, but the infiniteness of it. What do you think?

That was deep freebird, Look at the world and look at what the idea of Gods have done for us. How many wars for a God? How much hate for our fellow man produce by the Idea that we worship the right God? Lets cut our daughters throut because she would dare to love a man who has a different God. Lets bury a woman up to her neck and stone her because she gave into passion and had a child out of wedlock. Lets beat people who do not believe as we do. That should make our God happy. What would the world be like if we believe this is it? this is all there is? Nothing beyound here would we tri harder to slove problems, desease, make this a better place to live? treetrunk it I need a drink.

you can speculate and speculate but you won't know until you actually experience it

Personally I do believe in an afterlife. . . I have no idea why. I just always did. And I'm not a religious person, I may have got to church maybe five times in my lifetime. I just think it makes sense to me, for whatever reason. . . I don't know what happens in the afterlife, I tend to believe in the karma theory. . . But. . . Then we could all just wind up in a white room where we all sip tea and discuss Keat's poetry for the rest of eternity for that matter. . . Do I fear eternity or do I find it at all intimidating? No. I can honestly say I'm more curious than I am intimidated, and I don't think that's necessarily a good thing, but all well, whatever.

They can't its all about control and power. they all clame to have an answer but if you look close nothing makes sense. as I got into any religions I start to find them all to be very contradictory. How does one believe in a God who lets men ( because in 95% of all religions women are nothing in some women are just property like a cow or sheep) How does this god let these asses lay down his law and if it his or her law ( no it would not be her law she doen't count I forget) who wants to spend forever with this god. What kind of men want to spend glory with the 70 virgins? 70 little girls who don't know nothing. Give me one good whore. She is the one who needs 70 young men not the men who need 70 women. If he is a good man he might on a good day do 3. so once a month a good women get 15 min at best. No wonder there are so many lesbians. But if you go down the road from me to the Rowan Williams home will there be lesbo's in the here after? Let it be known I am not anti gay live and let live. If the hereafter is me and two bisexual women I might think about it. now you have done it I am going back to the pub. next time don't get me started.
