Pisces with Pisces Merc

When the Sun and Mercury are both in Pisces, the mind is more inspired, but it is also edged with a certain flightiness unless the ability to concentrate is shown elsewhere in the chart. These susceptible souls often suffer emotionally as a result of their thin-skinned impressionability. Frequently misunderstood, they may withdraw into themselves and become reclusive. I have the placements, and I'm imaginative and creative but not scattered (maybe my ability to concentrate comes from my grounding Taurus placements).. *I* understand what I'm thinking and feeling, but my Pisces Mercury makes my communication style very.. kaleidoscope.. full of images and abstracts and feelings and fleeting impressions.. it's been a struggle to line them up in an orderly, linear, logical fashion to be able to more clearly convey my thoughts to others. But I'm still very wordy, very verbose. (haha)
I do indeed have a very kind and compassionate and helpful nature, and sob stories really, really get to me.. I am FAR too empathetic, can walk a mile in anyone's shoes so to speak.. so I have to literally bite my tongue and (coldly?) detach from situations in order to avoid overextending myself for (undeserving) people.. but duped, no. I know perfectly well what I'm getting myself into, and it's a conscious choice.
I need space and occasional solitude to recharge, but the negative, destructive escapisms (drinking, drugs, etc) were never my style . But then again, I was indeed raised in a household where drugs/alcohol were not really present, and honesty was paramount.. you got in way more trouble for lying than you would have for your original screw up. Lying is still the #1 sin to me.

No, I am not, but I am the type of person who needs closure and answers. I can't really get those from him so I occassionally will be wondering about something in specific..... the last one involved wondering if these placements may have exacerbated some of our early communication issues. My Gem sun Taurus merc isn't exactly the most soothing...
Anyway, before I get blasted, I'm still trying to figure things out so I can move on, not to "win" his heart.

The person I knew with these placements found it difficult to talk about "issues" with me. Anything heavy had to be lightly danced around, addressed quickly, and then shelved to only be readdressed a couple days later. Because I'm more of a talker I was always left feeling misunderstood because I couldn't really use my words to express my point to my liking.
What are your experiences with situations like this if I may poll my target auidence?
