obviously astrology and all this is true. that's been accepted haha. but what does that mean? planets are gods? what? i don't get it. which religion? if any, which one? doesn't astrology being true answer something in life?

not even sure if i'm wording my question properly. basically i'm asking... since astrology is definitley true (either totally or to an extent) then what questions about life does this answer just by being true?

i think it points to the interconnectedness of everything even to the extent of how the position of the planets at the time and place of your birth have a profound effect on your make up that's unique only to you

^^agreed.

whether you believe in evolution or creationism, in most all instances you believe that we originated from a single source.

we're all a sum of parts.

do those parts become less relevant the further we're removed from them?

it's so easy to feel/sense a connection with our parents, grandparents, great-grands and so on, but what of those who are long gone? to think that back in the year 1000 something, a man and a woman somewhere on the planet earth got busy and produced a long lost ancestor is trippy. and then one realizes, what of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents? the more you dig, the deeper it gets until there is one...right? or maybe it's infinite?

astrology to me isn't more or less true because of a lack of scientific proofs but common sense dictates a level of reality when it comes to this non-science. what would the earth be without the sun and moon? the reality is, most all things are interdependent and there's beauty and magic and mysticism in that if you care to acknowledge it.

"As ABOVE, so BELOW..."

Astrology renders the cosmos visible in "symbolic" form applied to people, actions and events - the World, the Universe and Cosmos, ALL (ordered and in accord) within the principals of Natural Law, and of which our manifest world proceeds; and thus nothing IS by-chance, mere coincidence or more importantly affected by our own opinions, desires or bias. It JUST IS, imo.. Each person as cosmos on the human scale as in microcosmos - the living Universe being the macrocosmos, or cosmos-AT-LARGE. Our own unique Natal Charts representing a distinguishable, yet inseparable facet of the generated AND generative whole. I believe the complexity of humans to be mirrored in the complexity of the Stars, and likely we will never be capable of understanding it ALL completely within our own limits of human intelligence, which isn't neccessarily a BAD thing, when you think about it.

For me, Astrology is not about a "belief system", anyway; as in the AIR I breathe keeps me alive. I neither (have nor need) to believe or disbelieve for 'IT' to exist. I also think the existence of something does not always have to grant lessons automatically en-masse; we have to find, appreciate and fit them into our own individual lives along the way. Life really being WHAT you make of it - the 'personal', as in free-choice, will, beliefs, etc; within the collective.

If anything, Astrology has granted me more tolerence, understanding, patience and appreciation, FAR beyond Sun-signs, alone. And on the opposing side of the coin, NOT to judge or be judged by it alone. Balance & common sense ..
