Subconscious vs Unconscious: Neptune~Moon

Unconscious means comatose and subconscious means daydreaming. You can do things unconsciously but you cannot think unconsciously. You can make gestures unconsciously, hum a tune unconsciously(you cannot really hum a tune subconsciously).
Unconsciously means, not being aware.

So I've been reading about the relationship between the Moon and Neptune all night... And trying to figure out what the differences and similarities of these planets are.

When the Moon and Neptune combine it forms a Phlegmatic personality. In medical astrology the midpoint of the Moon~Neptune is known as the Phlegmatic midpoint. The Phlegmatic mind's Motive is inoffensiveness. They live to be subservient, essentially; this is the opposite of the choleric's drive for dominance. They take the path of least resistance so that they don't get on anyone's bad side, as the thought of doing so is deeply upsetting to them as it goes against their most fudamental wiring, rather than due to some conscious assessment. They are wont to feel that they're in the wrong rather than others, since they put others higher in the hierarchy than themselves and take the blame. They may not approach others because they feel it's their place to be approached; going against this is not easy.

They listen because they wish to do others a service; they wish to make others happy, but not for personal gain, but because it 'feels right'. That is, they would not act this way out of some conscious desire to Be A Good Person, but just because it's how they'd *naturally* behave without thinking about it.

In the pack, they'd be the bottom-of-the-rung menial labourers, the grunts, who know their place. It would not do for them to be rebellious, and it became natural for them to want to 'do their job' for the good of the pack. All places are important, however; these well-behaved so-called 'grunts' are the foundation of all working groups ever. Without them, everything would fall apart.

They are the White Mage, the Medic, the Redshirt, the Cook, the Worker.

However, the Moon —veils?? Neptune at the personality level for this stage of our evolution. In this sense, it acts almost like a filter, adjusting the energy of Neptune to something that can be utilized by humanity at this time — which is why the Moon has such a powerful effect on the masses. The true spiritual energy of Neptune is too subtle to be sensed or perceived by us at this time and, once we have fully awakened our sense-perception, we will be able to sense and fully utilise Neptunian energy. It is in Cancer that we cultivate and fine-tune our sense-perception, which is why Cancerians are so empathic and in tune with their emotional world.

The Moon and Neptune both symbolise the urge to fuse with others around them, and when these planets are combined it heightens sensitivity to the environment, and the ability to be caring or comforting.

It is Neptune that sensitizes us to spirit, conditions us to receive spirit in matter, and increases our capacity for spiritual awareness. In this sense, Neptune spiritualizes whatever he touches. After the Moon has done her work, by conditioning humanity through our emotions, Neptune increases our capacity for spiritual awareness. Neptune's reputation as an —illusionist?? in mundane astrology stems from this role in challenging our attachment to and identification with appearances and form. Neptune clearly shows us how forms themselves are constantly changing and illusory in nature, so we may turn our attention inward and discover the unchanging spiritual reality that is our true nature. Neptune invites us to go within and keep our attention on that which is steady, constant, and is in fact our true nature.

I read in esoteric astrology, once you overcome the emotional plane of Cancer.. you don't have to come back. Your karmic dept on this plane has been paid.

I thought it was a pleasant thought at first but I can see how this could be possible... a freedom found now.

How to be comforting and caring but NOT to one's own detriment is a formidable task for both Moon/Neptune. The opposite of this can be observed in emotional selfishness and self-absorption to the detriment of the ones in our environment.

As a Pisces Ascendent / Cancer Sun with Moon Trine Neptune.. I don't know which is which

Unconscious

I'm like you Shellshocker...Cancer Sun Moon trine Neptune... Moon in the 12th Neptune in the 4th. Virgo rising tho.

I have a hard time telling the difference between the two. I feel like I live a lot of my life with blind faith, and just fully trust my instincts. I daydream all the time and play with my thoughts. Also got a music box in my head where music is always playing... Feeling the vibration of my throat. Sometimes I believe my brain is located in my throat cause so much energy comes from my 5th chakra and Im always singing.

I do dream heavy but I can cheat in my dreams...If I don't like the outcome I simply change it and rewind my dream. Is that normal for people with strong Neptune? Or is it a Moon thing? Or Both? Escaping from the dream and changing the outcome lol I might get killed in a dream and go HELL NO rewind, and I find a gun under a bench and shoot the fucker.

I feel like an innocent person cause I'm so naive...I'm so child-like. My dad always told me if he didn't lie to me then everybody would be telling me the truth. I've done jail time, I've done my fair share of drugs. I lived with a Shaman for 6 years...Tons of roots and psychedelics. The descriptions of the Moon and Neptune together fit me to the tee. I'm a great listener. I live in Detroit and leave my front door unlocked cause I know I got nothing to be robbed for, that can't be normal for a Cancer. But the thing tho is I feel a lot of unconscious thought because I choose to remain ignorant. Does that make sense? I'm more primal and instinctual. Unconscious is something which happens without any sort of realization... I can say having my Moon hidden in the 12th I don't realize how emotional of a creature I am. I make people cry all the time. lol In a good way... Just really good at making people feel comfortable to remember their emotional scars...Virgo Moon... For Cancer: Spirit is matter in its highest form matter is spirit in its lowest form. That's where I see the connection of the Moon and Neptune.
