From experience I would say it's true...
need and want seem to be two separate things,
there are stuff that I need but don't want and there are things that
I really want but don't really need other than to satisfy my emotinal needs.
Sometimes I feel that I concentrate more on the things that I want rather than the things I need b/c I'm not really aware of what I need, if that makes any sense.

hey mike,it's a mythological character...Melusine (or Melusina) is the name of a spirit of fresh waters in sacred springs and rivers. She is usually depicted as a woman who is a serpent or fish (much like a mermaid) from the waist down.

So i'm pisces plus female = melusine! 🙂

yeah,people generally have to lose what they need to know they needed it and as far as emotional stuff goes love is a want in all honesty,it's not going to kill you or anything if you don't fall in love or lose it.Children however,they DO need emotional stuff due to it's thier developing stages and can cause damage mentally and therefore possably physically if thier emotional needs aren't met throughout that time.

And i really care a lot more about what i want than what i need. Exemple, i could have signed a lease and paid the first month this week, but i bought a laptop instead. See, the manchild in action. I need to get out of here, but i'll wait until next week. I do not need a second computer. See?

OFA,Is that a song from cheap tricks? that group is like really old...I wouldn't think you would know about them...I only know about them b/c I had this friend who was into collecting songs and other stuff belonging to old bands...I kinda picked up that hobby from her...although I'm not as knowledgeable as she is...

lol,Congrats to "Manchild in action" on getting a brand new laptop...that reminds me I really should get a new one...my old one is crappy, it has been giving me all sorts of trouble lately.

It's not brand new, i don't buy brand new because you have to be rich or pay a little every month and that pisses me off. It's a celeron 1.2, still decent though. Aaand i bought guitar stuff, but that's even more toyish than a computer.
