Scott Walker... eh, maybe. the thing is what is there to get excited about with him. all the presidents lately have had something awesome about them that people obssess about. Clinton-cool smooth talking hippie guy, Bush-bad ass Texan, Obama- the nice black guy with the chip on his shoulder. Hillary could of had something since she is a woman, but now I think she is in too bad of health.

What excites me about Scott Walker is turning a 3 billion dollar deficit in his state into a 950 million dollar surplus in just 3 years. This despite being a GOP governor in a blue state, surviving an election recall and winning a 2nd victory, fighting the democrat thug unions and winning, etc.

Is he a sexy candidate? Probably not. But where have these smooth, sexy presidents gotten us. An insurmountable shithole as far as I can tell. I'll forego sexy this time, and hope for the boring, economic and business minded white guy.

I'm pretty sure that no GOP candidate will ever be elected again. The demographics have flipped. When you have more takers than makers, the jig is up, and Santa Claus (Democrats) will continue to be elected. Free shit for everybody on John Q. Taxpayer's dime. Hooray!

The thing I don't like about GOP people is how they demonize unions. The workers have a right to fair pay and representation. Places where they don't have unions, like China, now that's a shithole.

Unions in general once had a purpose and were a force for good. Over the last 50 years they've morphed into being something negative. The wages and benefits they've pushed for, often using legalized extortion (strikes) as a negotiation tactic, are so high in comparison to everywhere else that many entire industries dried up in the USA.

They drive up costs due to unrealistic wages, benefits, and pensions. The companies that are unionized can no longer turn a profit, due to zero profit margins. Jobs are lost and shipped overseas, where labor is cheap and regulations are loose, or at least business friendly, and these businesses begin to thrive again.

Americans are now out of work. Nice business model, eh?
