In Norway we have 3 options, private schooling (for the rich people) common schools (for everyone) and the third one we called (home schooling).

The third one is sponsored by the local community and state and most parents (including me) put their kids there, I picked that one for my kids because they use nature as classroom (open air nit in winter time thou) and they study things in (kids pace) e.g., not forcing, the philosophy behind it as like (if you can not take it today there is always tomorrow but you lag behind if you are not following). Choice is yours...


There is no hurry and there are no competitions??_ (Take things when you are ready for it) kind of philosophy and practice.


At the end the quality of the education and the materials used are important??_

Standard European educational system can not be compared the Americans as they are much more advanced than the Americans.

All of this eventually falls back to the parents and how they use their times for their kids, those little trolls love the excitements...

Make thing interesting for them is an art for itself..!

Feel and follow the spirit of your kids and never let them down, never kill their spirit because it may be childish to you..


Schooling starts with your home..
