Anyway... I knew someone would just give an easy answer and then this thread would die but I'm not gonna let it happen. Are you Liberal Democrat? or a Conservative Democrat? or a Moderate Democrat? or a Run-of-the-mill-I-don't-care-so-long-as-the-guy-in-office-is-democrat Democrat?

lol, okay, you caught me...that was indeed way too simplistic of an answer I gave ya. I am definitely, absolutely a MODERATE Democrat. For example, I have no problem voting for a Republican as long as I feel that he or she is moderate, not extreme, and if I feel they are better qualified for their desired position than their liberal opponent. For instance, if Tom Daschle were running against John McCain for president, I would probably be more inclined to vote for McCain. However, if McCain were running against Hillary Clinton, I would more than likely vote for Hillary. I am liberal on abortion, and how extreme the views of the candidate are on that matter can be a deal-breaker for me. I am conservative on crime. I am fiscally moderate, leaning more toward liberal. I am less against taxes than your average conservative, but I am more conservative when it comes to issues like the death penalty (though I am thinking of altering my stance on that issue). I despise big corporations and do in fact believe that it is right that "the more you make, the more they take". I believe that wealth should be more evenly distributed throughout our society. I do believe that welfare is far too often abused, but I certainly believe that it is a necessary program. Whew, I am a bundle of contradictions, no? lol...I've just tried to give you a basic outline of my politics, but more than likely I've just confused you. Feel free to ask more, this is a good topic!

Ok, then lets see. When it comes to the death penatly and human rights, health care reform, the union, civil rights, gun control, the environment, federal drug law reform, full fiscal disclosures from all corporations and and a few other issues I am an radical liberal.hah!

I dont mind paying taxes for programs for people that need them, and for the right to live in a proserious nation. We are our brothers keeper, and that is what the Democratic party has always been about. I know we get robbed out of alot of our paychecks but thats the way it goes. You can make alot living here too.

My conservative streak is small but it is there on issues like having a strong military. Cant think of much more for now.

We need to do away with the electorial vote; this is an outdated and obsolete system, and it needs to go!

Welfare, universal health care, medical marijuana, campaign finance reform, environment, civil rights such as the gay right to marriage), right to an abortion, civil rights, and prisoner rehabilitation - I am for
Death Penalty (except in extreme cases), electoral college, corporate welfare, favoring of businesses, laissez-faire-like government actions, and a few others I cn't think of now I am against

Basically (thouhg no one would probably understand) I am, at heart an anarchist-by-way-of-marxism, just below the surface I'm a socialist, and imn full view I am a very liberal Democrat. Any questions? =)
