Leo Male said, i love u, then disappeared

Scenario: This Leo male and I see each other about once a year at an annual conference and we've remained in contact on Facebook. My nickname for him is grasshopper because he's much younger than me (12 years) and in my opinion still learning the ropes although he's a full time single father. Anyhoo, he kept paying me all of this attention at the conference again this past weekend. Talking me up and every time we parted ways he would kiss me on the cheek. Well, on Sunday night, the last night of the conference go figure, we're riding on the elevator. When he gets off he leans over kisses me again and tells me to keep in touch. I agree to and that was that. BUT an hour later, he messages me on Facebook telling me he loves me.

Unsure if this was a LAME booty call pick up line or if he was just joking, I responded with, "Are you teasing me?"

He didn't message me back. So, I sent another message that if he wanted to talk he was free to come see me. He didn't answer.

I still haven't heard anything from him.

He made it back home safely because he's posted on FB mainly about his child's mother not showing up for court this past Tuesday (she's trying to wrangle shared custody from the court system) and the recent murder of his best friend about three weeks ago. But he hasn't answered my messages, but he's read them. Thinking his life is upside down right now, I messaged him AGAIN and told him that I felt bad about all the negatives that have happened to him this past week. I even gave him my cell# if he wanted to talk about it.

He read the message, but didn't respond. Like WTF?

Oh and get this the message about the best friend he says, that he's never been in love or had his heart broken, but now that he's lost his friend/brother, he now knows how it feels.

I've never dated a Leo, so I'm not sure how they work. I'm a Libra w/ a Scorpio Moon and Virgo in Venus.

So, was the "I Love You" simply a lame pick up line? Should I wait to see if he comes around? Or cut him off completely and lump him in the immature leo male pile? The only reason my head is in the clouds about this is because I was so totally into this guy from the jump, but I kept my interest in him to myself because of the age difference and the fact that he has TONS of girls chasing him. He used to work as a male entertainer:/

so, he tells you he loves you to mean, he thinks you're an awesome person .. and you're so desperate to have someone be in love with you ... you twist his simple words of regard for around and make it into something it's not.

How pathetic. Why can't the man just love you, for you? Why do you have to make it into so much more that now he can't even love you as a friend because if he does, you're going to smother it to fucking pieces.

and yeah...black doesn't crack i've noticed. aside from the bootilicous asses, that's another reason i wish i was black 🙂
