Pisces & Gemini nono but what about other planets?

I love reading Posts on dxpnet. Its just so interesting!
Ive never posted anything myself though but if anyone is reading this Id love someones Input.
Im a pisces female, and although I try not to look into astrology too deeply, I always said Id never date a Gemini because we must be the least compatible sign ever, from what I read.

So as it happens, the never say never has come to haunt me and there is a gemini guy who has been after me for about a year. I've never seen him as a serious candidate but recently we starting Meeting up again and have been Dating since. although he annoys me I do actually really like him.
I think I really want to get rid of my mental block of OMG no geminis ever go away kinda Feeling and I read that its not just sun signs that matter but the whole Chart could have an influence.

Is there anyone here who has experience with that?
I have some air signs in my Chart and he has some earth and water signs in his.

Yes wow i surprisingly have aries in mars and venus. But i find it hard to identify with it. But thats another story. Ive done the birth charts and here we go

My bf of 1+ years is a also a Gem. We get on very well and love each other.

Your Gem has very little water...only the old, grumpy Saturn. He must be quite thirsty for your sun/ascendant.

All your other personal planets are very compatible. His Sun and Mercury in Gem, Moon in Aqua work a treat with your Moon in Leo and Mercury in Aqua. Expect to like and understand each other. His Gem Mars goes well with your Aries Venus. Oh...and his Venus is in Taurus. His mind might be fickle, but his affections are there to stay, for better or worse.
