Yods in Composite Chart

Do yods mean that a couple is destined way to be together?

I have about 5 yods with a guy who is persistent in being with me. I have deep feelings for him too but the relationship was all around very disapproved of and difficult. I felt the intensity a bit too much. These were out yods:
