Communication in long distance relationship

Does someone have an experience with Aqua man in long distance relationship? How did you manage it? How was the communication?

We were together 2 months, then I had to leave his country and I went back home. We agreed about meeting in a few months, because I have to go back to his country. We love each other (we told it to each other many times). He is quite Aquarian - lives alone, does not like limitations, doesnt have a lot of experiences with girls, despite of his age (41 ).

I'm home third day, and he wrote me only one mail in these days. We agreed about calling on Skype, he wrote in the mail that he will install it so we can speak. This was two days ago, since then - nothing.

I had one long distance relationship and I was used to call with my ex boyfriend every day, so this is quite strange situation for me. Is this behavior normal for Aquarian man? How can I tell him that I need to communicate more often without pushing him away?
