My friend wanted me to take pole dancing classes for fitness and fun, but I never did. I love dancing though and I like being watched when I dance (leo moon).

I don't know what to think about strippers, it sounds like glamourized prostitute. My brother was body guard for them(yes, they do need one) and he told me all their struggles. if you can't keep a hold on your husband/bf and he is constantly trying to go to strip clubs...then there's an issue in the relationship....a stripper doesn't know your drama...and i doubt she cares she is performing a service and the ppl that go are the clients...

It's simple. Your girlfriend is secure & she trusts you. She believes that all the lap dances in the world won't change the fact that SHE is the one you're coming home to at night. She trusts that you won't go back to those women, without her, for round two.
She may be the type of woman who feel it's very realistic (whether she likes it or not) for a man to be attracted to & have a good time with strippers. And if she believes that strip clubs are 1 way men truly enjoy themselves, she might've put her ego/pride/insecurities to the side in the name of wanting you to have a great time with her being there in the same way she figures you would've enjoyed yourself had it been a "guys only" birthday night.
My opinion is that purposely leading your partner into a room where lust & sex is served on a silver platter is a recipe for disaster, especially if there was minimal or no trust in the relationship BEFORE you both stepped inside those doors. Anytime you enable/encourage someone to believe that "sex and the opposite sex" is associated with "fun," you're playing a dangerous game, especially if a man spent all that time trying to suppress that "single" side of him in an effort to truly be monogamous to the woman he truly loves. Sometimes reawakening that beast is the WORST thing you can do!
But hey, although I don't believe in anything even remotely mimicking an open relationship, I understand that some of the couples who are ok with it, end up making it work b/c it's their thing. More power to em.
