Has anyone here ever had any relationships with Tunisian people?
Just wondering about the cultural differences and any stories you may have had with tunisian people.
I work for a construction company in the UK, and a tunisian woman has started working there since December. I've not really spoken to her other than saying the hello and goodbye as we enter and leave work.
But I did have a relationship with an Arab Muslim Egyptian male who lived in Cairo but he had never been outside of Egypt. I'm a white woman of no religion in the UK. The culture was far too different for me to deal with but that wasn't the reason it didn't work out.
I think there's a big difference in her culture and background if she's been in the UK for sometime.
My sister worked in Tunisia for six months and two friends of hers (female) met two Tunisian males while there. The males ended up moving to the UK. One set is still together, the other is not as he stole money from his father in law. That could be anyone though, not just due to being Tunisian!
I don't know any Tunisian women though but my sisters two friends said their men were not as traditional as you'd think they were. Perhaps it's different for the women.
