I know that you are not suppose to let the guy know that you are interested in him -- even after he states that he is interested in you.

However, when you are dealing with a shy man and you are aware that he like you, isn't it better to admit this information instead of pretending that you are not interested just to get him to chase you —

Theres no need to go by 'rules.' You do what you must. If you told him, that means their should be no confusion and the ball is in his court to commence getting to know you better. If he does otherwise, he cannot blame it on confusion from your part since you were straight forward. Guys seem to like it when their just told, since they always claim not to be mind readers or body language for that matter.

He should find it refreshing. If he's a good guy you all should date with no problem.

Oh, I must add...I have taken into consideration that he has told you he likes you (straight forward though) with the advice above. If not...he gets nothing. 🙂

I wasn't emotional about it. I just agreed that if he liked me, then I liked him too.

I say do whatever feels right! Just go with the flow and follow your intuition.

... at least you didn't have to get a friend of yours to tell him for you.
