Oh loving Jesus, meek lamb of God, I a miserable sinner salute and worship the most sacred wound of Thy Shoulder, On which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, Whch so tore Thy flesh and laid Thy bones as to inflict an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy mst Blessed Body.

I dore Thee, Oh Jesus most sorrowful, I praise and glorify Thee, and give thanks fully to Thee for this most Holy and sacred and painful wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain, and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me a most miserable sinner, to forgive me of all my mortal and venial sins, and to lead me on towards Heaven along the way of Thy Cross.

Yeah, I'm kind of getting the feeling that Jesus didn't die for us on the cross because he loved us and WANTED to sacrifice himself for us.

I'm thinking it was more along the lines of .. he was beaten, drug and forcibly murdered against his will. Can't say I've ever heard of someone being murdered by choice.

Wonder how this got turned around to make it sound as though he did this great deed .. I'll bet you if he had prior warning, he would have ran his ass off in the other direction.
