What Separates Christianity From the Rest?

? Religion is a set of traditions, rules, rituals, ceremonies etc.. Which Christianity has nothing to do with.
I am not religious. Christianity isn't about religion.
Christ did it all on the cross. Man rejects what he has done and concocts other religions and rules, as stated above.
In christianity, it's not about works, God designed it that way, lest anyone should boast in their works.
In all other religions it's about what you have to do to achieve better status.

?The bible says, Ask Jesus into you're heart and you are saved. It's that simple.
You get all the benefits of knowing the creator of the universe, you feel his love and care,And,..
You get the benefits listed below and then some. This is what separates Christianity from anything else.
He is alive and well, not dead like all the others many people live for.
Let's see, which one would I rather have, a dead one or someone who's alive?
Which also brings me to another point. Some peoples religions believe they are gods...LOL
Now, this is very funny,..actually sad. Let's define a god shall we...
A god has power over things humans do not. rain, snow, earthquakes, etc...
A real god would have power over death, Like Christ! No human has power over death!
No other human being has that ability. The truth is, men cannot be gods.
This is the kind of stuff you'll find out there in the world religions.
Now, which would you choose, some fools made up nonsense or something that is tried true and lasts the test of time?
All other religions come and go like bad habits. Christianty will never go away, because it doesn't come from man's minds.

?The God of the bible heals the sick and the brokenhearted. (Physicaly, mentally, and emotionally).
He completely healed my back of a major back injury. The medical system couldn't help me.
After two years of pain, I heard that Jesus heals. I asked him to heal my back in my bedroom one morning.
No longer did I get the words out of my mouth, and I felt my whole back realign instantly.
It's been several years and I've had no further pain or problems.
I can lift and do anything, just like I did before He healed me. Now,..trip on that!

?He delivers from addictions. He delivered me from cigarettes, and drugs.
When I woke up the next morning after burning my tarot cards,
I no longer had the desire to do either one. It was if I had never done them.
that was 11 years ago and I have not been back to either one.
As of today, I can't stand the smell of cigarettes.

?He protects from danger. He also protected me from a sexual disease.

?After I Burned my tarot cards in the fireplace, I had a peace come upon me that was not there before.
He let's you feel his presence. It's like tingles up and down your body. and the peace he gives to your heart and mind.
Like the scripture says in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, do I give to you.

Because I have met really good people who are not followers of Christanity and who have said the same thing as you :
That God spoke to them.

? Well, just maybe,...just maybe there is some truth to what we are saying.

I am just refuting the point you made that, only Christanity is the way to God and no other way. And the rest is the Concept of Man.

Many other texts and religions claim that God speaks to them.
God spoke to me while I was doing a reading of my tarot cards.
However,..He showed me that what I was seeking was a lie, and that He is the only truth.
He cannot be found in other texts, because they deny Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
No other text speaks of the Holy Spirit. If it did, it would lead them to Christ, not away from Him.
Jesus Christ said himself, that He is the only way. Men in their stubborness don't want to accept this.
Men go so far to claim there are other texts that are of God. The bible makes it clear, not to add or take away,
from the true Holy scriptures, but man has done it for centuries, and that's why we have so many religions, and beliefs.
Mans mind creates religion. They take a little from the bible, and then add to it and call it the word of God.
Interestingly, these people who have done this for centuries are greatly deceived.
And people buy into their nonsense without looking into their background.

For example..Church of the latter day saints (Also known as Mormonism) deny Christs authority and what he did.
In fact, they claim to accept the bible and even carry it with them when they witness.
But they never refer to it, they only push their book. I've encountered that many times with them.
They claim Satan is Jesus's brother, and that's it. Jesus never said Satan was his brother,
nor can this information be found anywhere in scripture. The bible describes who Satan really is...
The bible refers to Satan as the head Archangel in heaven that was cast out of Heaven by God himself.
His name was Lucifer at the time He attempted to overthrow God and take his position. (Isaiah 14).
He took 1/3 of the angels with him in heaven and attempted a revolt against God.
Their revolt was futile,..they were all cast out of heaven. they were thrown down to earth.
Jesus said Luke 10:19 " Behold I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning!"
He and his fallen angels are the ones that deceive humanity. Jesus calls Satan the father of lies, the great deceiver.
Jesus says satan comes as an angel of light, but there is nothing but darkness in him.

The founder, Joeseph Smith claimed that an angel appeared to him (Moroni) and gave him two plates.
and that they were another testament of Jesus Christ. (Who's Moroni)? This supposed Angel is not mentioned in the bible.

? Interesting, centuries later after the bible was written, and they warned about it in scripture, it takes place in our time.

and that Smith should join none of them. ( Now, why would Jesus Christ deny His own Gospel and church )?
Smith was directed to wait until God chose him to restore the fullness of the everlasting Gospel of Christ again on earth.
(Why would Jesus Christ do such a thing when His death on the cross is the completed work of God for salvation)?

? Again, this is the kind of nonsense you find out there in other religions.
I can give other examples if necessary, as I have many resources.

Mormons preach another Jesus, not of the bible. The angel that appeared to Joseph Smith is a fallen angel, a demon.
He deceived him and gave him something that led him away from Christ and the truth.
Christians do not get info, nor seek angels, nor spirit guides for the truth.
Jesus said The HolySpirit would be sent to humanity after he ascended to heaven.

Christians should seek only Jesus, God and the HolySpirit. This is the trinity of God. Anything outside of this, is deception.

Mormons do not believe in the power of the HolySpirit, yet the bible speaks of this.
They are in major error, just like countless others because of deception, and stubborness.
They want to choose their own way. Their way leads them and countless others away from the truth.

? Joseph Smith was said to be shiftless (not a trustworthy person), with a penchant for exaggeration and untruthfullness.
He also practiced fortune telling and the occult. His experiences and what he believed was of God could not have been because he was majorly inflenced by these sources. and what he was shown, (as stated before), lead him away from Jesus Christ and the HolySpirit. He was influenced by fallen angels. All occultic influence comes from demons, not of God.
God, in his word, warns of this and expresses it throughout His word, that people not be deceived, but come to the truth.

i noh alot about the mormons and thats soooooo untrue.. they believe in the holy ghost and that itz the member of the Godhead.... they r great people.. i respect them more then other christians coz their heart is where it shud be.. their church is NOT only a SUB+NDAY church but they live their religion 24/7.... which..

yes the spirit keeps us from been deceived but often we IGNORE itz promptings and belive wat we want to believe...

i agree you can NEVER say christ is the saviour EXCEPT by the holy spirit coz it gives u a testimony... and Mormons belive that strongly more than n e other religion.. infact their testimonies are based on the witness from the holy ghost...

they BELIEVE in the SAME jesus christ as you and i do....i had loadz of mormon friendz n i did LOADZ of in-depth study about them.. as well as catholics.. Jehovah's witnesses..

have to admit DE... ur conversion was a powerful one...u had a ' MIGHTY CHANGE of hEART'...which is not very common these dayz and im really happy for ya... BUT ur only problem is that your stubborn and only see what ur eyes want to see... and thatz not rite 🙂

itz NOT that simple... yes u are saved by grace but not ONLY by grace alone.. u have to show ur willing to follow the savior......as i said earlier.. FAITH without WORKS is dead...salvation doesnt cum from mere belief...
