Communication Disfunction!!

So, I'm a Scorpio and he's a Libra.

[typical oh-the-horror ensues!]

Well, it might not be typical. I'm trying VERY HARD to communicate properly with him! In fact, the thing that draws me to him the strongest is how easily he makes me WANT to open up. About everything. With everyone. The feeling continues even after he's gone. So here I am, on the interwebs.

The problem finally boils down to that my head is somewhat in the clouds. Being around him and having all the endorphins rushing around certainly doesn't help matters, but it's also an underlying issue that I've had for all of my life. Things don't always make 100% sense the first time I say them. I'll say something and use a few words when sometimes a lot more words were needed. Although it hasn't been such a huge problem with most people as it has been with him.

A verbatim example:
Today we went to a sport event, his choice. We'd been waiting for our group to get a turn, and started talking about other things. The loudspeaker came on saying we were to start lining up in 5 minutes. He missed that, so I relayed it. Yes I did so right away, because waiting for him to 100% finish his thought would've meant telling him with maybe 1 minute to line up. Anticipation told me he'd be as disappointed as me. I gestured to the line-up place and said, "Five minutes." He was baffled. Apparently he'd have preferred something more like, "The guy on the loudspeaker said we have 5 minutes to line up."

Much later, we were talking about sharing pictures (too big for e-mail) from another event. They're on my camera. He said he'll have to bring a usb card sometime. I said, "Ooo, put your videos on them! I can show [Name]." He took videos today of the sport event. We'd talked about getting me a copy because [Name] wants to see. I'd related bringing-a-usb-card to put-something-you-have-on-the-card. He'd related put-something-on-the-card to putting my different-day pictures on it to show [Name].

So we're having some communication issues. But not for lack of trying. Any suggestions? I really think this is worthwhile. We mesh so well on SO MUCH!! But not this. And communication is important, whether it be through words or intuition.

Some more astrology info:
My Moon is Virgo, and his is Aquarius.
Both of us have Venus in Libra.
My Mars is also in Libra, whereas his is in Mars.
(I should really have a handle on understanding Libra, right?)
My rising sign is Pisces, but I don't know his.

This bit could be a problem:
My Mercury is Sagittarius. Mmmm scatterbrained. His is in Scorpio. I should be able to use this to my advantage, right? I'm Sun Scorpio and all. However my Midheaven is also in Sagittarius and his is in Libra.

I don't know how much any of this means.

Here's a bit of practical psychology:
He's a guy and I'm a girl.

(Well dang, that about does it, usually.)

But I WANT to do what can be done to try to make this work. I'm open to psychology (something beyond osmosis and practice, though, would be quicker). I'm open to metaphysiology. But as gemstones cost $ $ $ off ebay and amazon, the huge list found by google won't help. 😢 Some personal experience or something a friend remembers actually happening, is something I'd like to try.

I'd like to be able to better explain things. Also, if there is some way to help him better understand the unexplained.
