Don't understand this Taurus?

My best friend is a 19 year old Taurus male and I don't understand him these days.

You could say we are pretty close but recently I've been struggling to understand his behaviour. He seems to be under the assumption that I need to open about EVERYTHING the minute he asks for it. And this is relatively new, he wasn't like this before. I explained to him that I don't function like that, mystery is embedded into my personality but he escalates it to a trust issue every time.

But that's the thing, he knows I trust him the most - I've told him a deep, dark secret; and in fact, he's the first to know. He is well aware of this fact so I don't get why he thinks I don't trust him. Not just that, he's been calling me things like an "attention whore" because he thinks I don't open up on purpose so that he keeps asking and I enjoy the attention in some sick, twisted way.

Dafuq.

Jeanne, I don't know what to say.. we are best friends. I care about him and he cares about me but I don't feel anything romantic.
I just don't understand. This is unusual behavior, even for a Taurus. :/

This is a recurrent phenomenon if I look at the past month.

Are you sure he is a Taurus? To relate to my cousin who is a Taurus guy he doesn't act like you describe this guy is doing to you. I have a Taurus female co-worker she doesn't pry into peoples lives I find them having a loner tendency not sure if you could call it maybe more independent. I have a Taurus moon and I'm independent like my cousin we keep to ourselves.

What you are describing is Aries traits I have two Aries friends/co-workers they want to know everything about you, you are not giving him what he wants and he's having an Aries temper tantrum.

Hmmmm, yes I'm pretty sure he is a Taurus. And that's the thing, like your cousin and co-worker, he is a private individual. He doesn't pry into other people's lives .. earlier, if I ever refused to tell him what was bothering me he'd leave me alone. Sometimes he'd try to cheer me up. But now, he wants to know... If I don't tell him he starts making it a trust issue. Calls me an 'attention seeker'.

And in case you're wondering, he doesn't act like this with anyone else. Just me.

Frankly, I'm really exhausted. This happens about once a week and we end up discussing it for hours.. I need to give him assurance that all is well and that I still trust him. It's getting really exasperating now.
