are you in a career or on a career path that you have chosen? what is the least scorpionic job you've had, and why?

me: yeah, my job uses scorpio skills of investigation and i generally work alone..i'm an analyst/writer. got virgo rising...what are the 1st 4 letters of analyst? yeah, well i fit the bill, lol.

least scorpionic job was a summer job in woolworths where i worked on a deli counter. a jew girl on a meat counter being asked for meat i had never heard of and reeking of it after. plus the additional humiliation of wearing a uniform like a cleaning lady's together with a ridiculous chef's hat. i don't think smelly, menial work that contravenes fashion law is suitable for a scorp lady.

eww. daycare teacher *shudders*

psychiatry & law enforcement communication..definitely scorpionic. we're good at digging around for info...even in peoples' heads.

art therapy sounds very cool, specially working with kids. it's amazing what their art can tell you, even as a parent. my daughter went through a phase of drawing our family together after it had fallen apart...all drawn inside the house, like no-one's leaving..broke my heart. i guess you're gonna have to be teflon coated if you're going into that career cos some of the kids you'll encounter will have been through unimaginable things that you will be key in unlocking from their minds 😢

This is an interesting thread.

My fiance has never had a Scorpionic job ... mostly due to age (20). He's studying Marina as a degree which appraises boats, inspects, fixes engines, managing marinas, etc.. so he's going into a quite Scorpionic field.

Aspects of my clinical work play towards my Scorpion moon; orthopedic physical therapy is very investigative with the human body and hands on. Very intuitive with healing. It's an advantage towards my Leo sun too with the physical aspect of it and socially friendly. But that's another matter 😉

I'm having a fun time thinking about these answers and will be lurking this thread 😉

My scorp moon is wasted on my career in sales. I can investigate like nobody's business. I can find info on anyone I am obsessed with, I can scare myself at how good I can be.

yep. you scare me too, lol!!

i was complete crap at sales. phone fear for a start. my boss said i was the most decorative waste of space they'd had at the company. just so happened they needed a copywriter and so i was able to show where my skills were at.

hmmm....a socially friendly physical therapist? sounds like a euphamism for something completely different, LOL.

OH GOSH AWKWARD. 😉

Heh, thinking about it - Physical Therapists have a saying. It's not called PT for nothing; pain and torture is what we'll put you through 😉

yep , I am social case worker for a government agency. My job is never boring and half of the butter these people tell you don't even make no sense. That scorpio astute intuition always come handy . They will lie to your face and make up anything just to get benefits. They are talking to me and in my head I am going Yep you are a liar. But of course you can't tell them 🙂 And when they come they awalys forgot that they had signed a release of information. That paper give me authorization by allowing me to check everything about them. I feel bad for them sometimes when I have to write theses fraud reports for the states. Yes I love my job ...

thebigcarlos: do you think being an employer is scorpionic? i'm crap at being a boss cos i like to do things myself and can't trust anyone to do it the same way...and i hate delegating cos it feels kinda rude, lol. think that's the libra moon.

that's the point. being your own boss is the best job there is. you don't have no one constantly looking over your shoulder and giving orders. and lord knows i hate when bosses push you around by telling you to speed up. that shit makes me wanna go mid-evil on em. i only have one job working for someone and yes i'm plan on quittin it.

oh yeah! i agree with that. i work freelance for that reason. can't stand being told to be at a certain place for a given duration day in, day out. i like to mooch around in the mornings and take my time, lol. but the fact i work on my own means i can work at night if i like and i'm not restricted to having others involved in the process.

problems with authority is a scorpio thing i think.
