Anybody here have that aspect? What is the best way of communicating with someone who is a Scorpio with Merc also in Scorpio? All this week my bf and I have been having these communication breakdowns. I'm terrified as to what'll happen when Mercury goes Rx, so I want to try to nip this in the bud now.
Is directness key? If something is bothering your partner, would you rather them stew or get it out, even if it hurts your feelings?
Don't know much about merc and Rx, but all I can tell you that me, as a Scorp, I am a HORRIBLE communicator. I let things stew/hold it in and then blow up at some point. Trying to work on those issues myself.
Hmm, thanks Sophie. Maybe I could ask you a quick question? Would you be upset at having to repeat yourself? Upset to the point of walking out or ending a conversation? I was talking to my Scorpio partner today and he mentioned something. I expressed surprise at it and he angrily tells me he told me about this last night. I have recollection of that and told him so and he gets more angry. This confuses me. I forgot. Is forgetting one thing a Scorpio says to you during a 2-hr conversation cause for someone yelling and hanging up the phone in a rage? And no, this is not a regular occurrence. I pride myself on having a really good memory. Thanks for any insight.
When Mercury is retrograde, everyone's thinking is more introspective and we tend to think about issues and concerns which relate to the sign involved. With Mercury retrograde in Scorpio, people with this sign prominent in their charts will be especially prone to such introspection. There is little choice but to reconsider our personal views and opinions about life. We receive, however, an opportunity to gain insight into our own ego.
Mercury retro in Scorpio creates a skeptical, cynical mood, with mental and emotional confusion arising through an undue fixation on secrecy and the hidden side of things. People cling to their opinions, despite the evidence and will fight (sometimes to the death!) to defend them. Mercury in Scorpio gives a shrewd and penetrating mind, keen aspiration, a quick wit and a sharp, sarcastic tongue.
People are inclined to be headstrong and difficult to get along with. Knowledge and information tends to be equated with power and secrecy. Conspiracy theories raise their ugly heads. Although skepticism is rampant, the other side of this is an attraction to mysticism and the occult. An intriguing attraction may be shortlived and interest in the opposite sex may be misconstrued by others.

I have Mercury in Retrograde in Scorpio. What is the deal with the whole "Retrograde" anyway?
......ok, ill be careful..it seems like maybe it has a more explosive effect on the male species, since i have mercury in scorpio and im a sweetie pie!!!
But then again, Manson, Bundy and Oswald also had their Venus in Scorpio, so maybe that helped intensify it.
when is retrograde happening again!?!? last time i almost went nutso. i have merc and sun in scorp. i don't like to communicate when i'm mad i need to cool off and then discuss things. direct is good especially if there is a lot of built up tension i prefer to just address it. about the yelling and hanging up the phone.....scorp men just seem evil.
Actually it's more so how much influence we have on other people. Other people look up to us and want to serve us.
Hell, i've got this Capricorn Bitch (tender_poison) sending me Private Messages on this site telling me how much she admires me and keeps calling me her master.
Hey, we can't help it that we're better than the other signs 🙂
Yummy is all I can say. He's very intense and passionate with his words and will tell me he loves me unlike other big babies who get scared and run off.
