Mind games or admitting he's wrong?!

So I don't use astrology to predict my future or anything but I do think they are pretty accurate when it comes to your personality. So I wanted to see what other people have to say about this situation: my man friend is a Scorpio and I am a Pisces...and I have to say we fit our signs pretty well!

I got jealous and we got into a fight. BIG mistake! After a few days I was exhausted and hurt. I apologized and was ready for it to be over. Nope. Not that simple because he wasn't letting it go! I'm not sure if he was upset JUST about that or if there was something else going on too and this was just his outlet. I talked to a few people and they said he was really being an ass about everything!

He was so cold and mean, I could not believe it! Actually I could believe because he can be very revengeful and hateful, especially to his exes even if HE broke up with them. Anyways, I didn't talk to him for 3 weeks: not to be mean, not because I was mad, not to teach him a lesson or anything but because I guess I'm just a sensitive little fish.

I ended up running into him and paying him a compliment and he appreciated it. Now, when I text him he will text me back, usually pretty quick. My thing is: is he really the emotional but lovable guy and this is just his way of saying "fight over" and rebuilding OR is he mind fing me?! Like, he's answering my texts because he is giving me what I want and still coming off as the good guy?

Sometimes I feel like we have an amazing connection that can't be explained, so part of me really does want to believe that side of him. But another part of me can see this darkness and I'm just not sure what to do!

Further explanation of the bolded phrase is needed, IMO, before advice can be given.

I am interpreting it as: you guys are friends, possibly with benefits or some other complication barring you from being together as a full-fledged couple.. Which to me implies no obligations or accountability on *either* side..
