Hello. I am going to try to brief but not my forte. I had been getting to know a scorpio man in his late 30??s for about 4 months when — wait for it. . . he disappeared. Me: early 40??s —not looking to get married or have babies but also not interested in being booty.

I actually do know that he is the isolating type of Scorpio. About 6 weeks into spending time together his life changed in a day. At first it was deeply upsetting & worrisome but then several weeks later it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Good opportunities came however, they came with 100% different day-to-day life — Now in school with new stresses in his life & new responsibilities. He is a father too.

He went out of town for a little less than 2 weeks. I got texts. I didn't want to bother him because he was working on a production and had a limited timeline to get a lot done. I had sent 2 texts in a week that got no response, which was a first. After a week of not hearing from him I called. He answered — seemed normal but I could hear a lot of noise in the background & knew it was a bad time. . . he said he would call me back. (said he did not get my texts—)

Days passed. I didn't take him for a dbag kind of guy. He seemed straight forward and not a coward-jerk. This is one of the only reasons I thought —maybe?? he's so stressed out he retreated. He did tell me that when he feels bogged down or stressed, he feels like he is no good for anyone and he hides himself away — he doesn't want to talk to anyone. I really didn't think it had to do with me. 2 weeks passed. I normally would think this was a disappearing act but like I said I —thought?? he seemed more mature than that. I??ve also been told Scorpios like to isolate themselves off from their inner circle & the world and sometimes just need time alone. I'm not really in his inner circle yet — I still consider this rather new and still getting to know each other. However, I couldn't help thinking —how rude?? — even though his character didn't seem rude prior. Did he pull the lame disappear people do? The simple fact that he does not seem like a jerk lead me to believe he might be contacting me again. I had a specific timeline in mind.

30 minutes before my imaginary clock expired: Text message: basically saying he knows I must be upset with him but that if I knew what his days have been like — I would know that they have been difficult for him.

Do you want to be with someone who disappears on you?

You should really think about what YOU WANT and then decide if you have the patience to be with someone who drops off the face the of universe for weeks at a time.

This pattern will not go away so think about you FIRST as you take his behavior into consideration. It's not really about him disappearing, it's about you and what you're looking for.

If you're not looking for anything serious then his disappearing act should not be a problem but if you are looking for a connected commitment minus the disappearing acts you might want to think this through a bit more.
