So George W. Bush is a cancer in more ways than one. Unlike many here, I did not know that.

I guess there are parts of it that fit. He was supposedly a big mummy's boy growing up. His thought process... well, what thought process? Poor gut-making decisions based entirely on emotion, perhaps.

Other Crab Presidents include John Quincy Adams, Calvin Coolidge, and Gerald R Ford. Both Quincy Adams and Gerald Ford were hardly noticeable.

Similar to GW Bush, Calvin Coolidge presided over a similar easy money period that led to a systemic and financial crisis knowned today as the Great Depression. He was succeeded by a Leo named Herbert Hoover who tried radical and unsuccesful actions to reverse and resuscitate the damage (despite popular history denoting otherwise). Similarly, our failed crab is about to be replaced by a Leo who will try to reverse this tsunami.

Funny how patterns repeat.

my post is more about GW and quirky similarities.

personally, i don't think the US government can really stop what is happening in real time. also, i think herbert hoover got a raw deal. i didn't agree with a lot of his policies back then, but i think he was judged poorly for circumstances beyond his control - like inheriting the onset of the Great Depression.

"i don't think the US government can really stop what is happening in real time."

no. there are those who would like to believe they can, but unfortunately it is not so. attempts to do so will provide only a band-aid where surgery is required.

the U.S. govenment does have the power, however, to act now in ways that are likely to prove beneficial once they are able to catch up with real time.
