because I am the opposite. I don't drink at all. My overindulgence is "junk" food when I'm in a state of stress, confusion or emotional distress, or I will just skip meals all together because I don't have the appetite. I ate a whole apple pie and a carton of vanilla ice cream last night because I was upset . Mind you, I didn't eat anything else for the day, but there's still no excuse. The only reason I'm not a million pounds is because I run daily, which is something I also do to relieve stress.

It's a horrible habit/cycle. I eat junk then workout to justify or "erase" my overindulgence the day before until my mood settles.

I think the diet recommendations are great, but it all depends on the Scorp. I find my body responds best to a vegan diet (sleep, energy, mental clarity), which I followed for a while, but it became time consuming making all of my meals to ensure it was in fact free of any animal by-product (always been a control freak ). A vegetarian diet suits me fine now, but I minimize my dairy consumption to my junk food binges .
