Scorpio Mars vs Aries Mars

Is this compatible? What should I look for or see between these two?

I have this with with my husband, he has the aries one. The only word to describe it is explosive in a good and bad way. Intense fights and intense passions

Plus none wants to be dominated by the other. They are opposites in the way that, the aries is quick to anger and lash out- the scorp one is slow to anger and only lashes out after having had enough of the many outbursts from the aries. It might work if both sides learn to control their tempers.
