Scorpios Difference Between Like & Love

How do you guys know whether you just really like someone or you love them? I've read water signs just know because they feel it but how does it feel?

but i am limited in my

What does that mean?

I relate to TachibanaSan and starlover's descriptions.

It doesn't happen to me very often. When I love someone, it's a feeling that is much more expansive than when I only like a person. It feels like it strongly radiates in and out of me from my heart (all around my body). I have no idea if we truly do have emotions that reside in our physical hearts, but it sure feels that way to me bodily, and I feel emotional pain there too so heartbreak definitely is an apt description for me when I've been badly emotionally hurt by someone.

I'll want to do what I can to be helpful to, protect/defend, and make the person I love comfortable. It isn't that I won't want to do any of that with someone I only like, but with love it's a much stronger feeling/motivation.

So it's definitely a feeling that signals me. I do run it all through my intellect to try to determine if my feeling is based on reality or what I hope the person is. Sometimes it's not fully based on reality and the feeling fades fast when that's the case, before I make the mistake of expressing it to the person in some way, but when it's real it passes intellectual dissection so I know that it's real and will last. That doesn't mean the relationship will work out, just that my feelings are real so I should pay attention to them and maybe act on them.

I'm not sure how I could adequately describe a feeling as deep as love without sounding like I'm spouting off a bunch of Scorpionic clichès, so....

The better question is how would someone know if I really like vs love them. To answer that question, my actions would reflect the difference. I would extend myself beyond where I feel safe and comfortable to meet the person half way to let them know they matter to me. They would have my attention most of the time, above all others and be the only person I would disclose my fears and the first person I would share my joy and pain with. If I treat you like everyone else, well you are just that: like everyone else, so it's safe to say I simply like you a lot.

So it seems like it's based on the degree of passion. How do you let someone else know that, if they have nothing to base it off of? Do you give obvious signs or stick with subtlety and let the other person figure it out?

If we like a person we have no much passion. When we love a person we move the earth for that person.

I notice this for both male and female.



EDIT - then again, I remember my husband's cousin who is stellium scorpio, with sun there, and a leo mars.
and my husband has leo.

Raising hand .... the love my scorpio shows me has gone way beyond physical...... so I must agree with those that have said can move earth ...... understand scorpio feelings of true love run much deeper than just a like ..... but even likes can come across as passionate ..... but in love .... truly in love ........ they hold no bounds..... depending on the scorp ... it will be extremely spritual and sexual .... on many levels ....
