Shy Cappies and secretive Scorpios..how do they co
Sounds like he's not the only one that needs some relaxing...
I think it would do you some good not worry so much about what his reaction might be. Just tell the truth. The ABSOLUTE truth about how you feel right now. I've also been in a similar situation with a scorp (and I'm a cap-girl) and I've come to find that the best way to his heart was always through honesty and sincerity. Be direct, forward, and very very sincere with your words. He'll respect you for this, trust me. Gently tug him, pull him aside, do what you gotta do, if you're intimidated, he'll probably pick up on it so make sure you are firm and not so scared of what the results might be, be them negative or postive.
But if he's a good scorp, and a true friend, or maybe even has some hidden feelings for you, I'm sure the results will be very, VERY positive.

And yes, being very honest and direct works wonders I think. So far I've always been honest with him, I even told him I really liked him and found him very sweet. Of course he didn't believe me at first but now he's opening up to me. On the other hand Scorps are hurt easily and I don't want to bring up any hurt from the past unnecessarily! It's a delicate balance I think....
And we'll see about the hidden feelings, so far he's been very sweet and open to me. Even when he was defensive I could see the honesty and insecurity in his eyes. Those eyes DO give you away dear Scorps! But afterwards he was always glad I was interested in what he had to say, even when he he reacted defensively in the first place. We'll see....😉

Srangley i feel like your reactions are soo similar to my reactions when i am as enamoured by THE man in my life.
all the same ....shy ...wanting to not hurt the other persons feelings......being toungetied during inital dates....always telling myself to be opena nd direct and not scared (and mostof the times not being able to do that - but thats just me!). And i also notice that if i tell someone - friends or anyone that i know about all these symptoms - they all tell me the same thing - you need to relax and take a breather and stop being scared! 🙂

Ah, always nice to hear something positive! This Board is filled with angry or confused people, I only hear bad stories!
I'm not sure if I'm in love yet, last time I saw him (9 days ago) I felt some butterlies in my stomach. But I'm still keeping my heart safely with me, until I know for sure if I can trust him. You know us Cappies....😉
I know I have to relax, it all has to do with trust. Once I know I can trust him I can be my bright enthousiastic loving self. No better, I have to trust MYSELF and just let the love flow, break the ice as fast as possible. So far I haven't seen him outside work yet so I'm in "the waiting game". I just need to have patience....Cappies and Scorps need some time to get to know eachother, I know.

It's not an easy task to stop being scared of a powerful Scorp....especially when you're a shy Cappie and feel very much for someone! Although I can hardly call myself shy nowadays....😉

As you've already read I've met a Scorp and I really like him. But being shy as a Capricorn when we're alone, and him being distant it makes it difficult to start a conversation or talk about something I want to talk about. Usually we talk about our work or about sex (what's new?!) but I'll have my first real date soon. You Scorps are quite dominant also so it's not easy to change the subject. Do you have any ideas on how to make him feel easier and relaxed, and me being less intimidated by his aloofness?
I want to discuss what kind of relationship he wants and how I feel about it but I don't know how to make him listen, without making him feel offended. It's a sensitive subject because he's been awfully hurt in the past, and I want to show him he CAN trust me! I don't want to make him jealous so I'm keeping another man who likes me at a distance...does he realise it?
