Fair enough..I understand where your coming from. It was a last minute plan and I can't just drop work to go to the shops so that is a little unfair. If it was vice versa I'm sure he would do the same thing. I wasn't trying to be rude about it. I obviously want to see him but with a last minute plan and working, it's hard. I just wanna move forwards from it

I would just kinda let it slide. Chalk it up to miscommunication that happens between all couples at some point.
