I came here today, just to browse and catch some new insights into the scorp personality!
As i read...i realised that we all(non-scorps) are enthralled by the mysterious and magnetic scorp personalities in our lives.
Some of us are wondering
'why wont he say that he likes me'
OR
'how can i get him to like me'
OR
'he is a moron and deserves no better (but it is quite obvious that i am very disturbed that he doesnt like me!)'
OR
whatever

I wonder why we all sane people have to be like this around scorps!

It is not that they are the most charming people u might have met ( on the contrary they almost go out of thier way to NOT be 'nice' - for them niceness implies flattery i think!)

I personaly think that this happens because they make you feel soo powerless.
How? For one, by not giving up how much you really affect them!
They are clever at hiding themselves and thier feelings (inborn talent i guess!)

You will never ever see a scorp talking down to himself or about himself!
Never find him telling you how much you have got to do his sleepless nights or his tired mind(maybe you are intellctualy more stimulating than him or maybe you have his heart and he is unsure if he wants to pursue you or not!)!
Never find him opening himself up ever!

But i guess they must pay for being this irresistable! (it cant be all good!)

Any honest insights—

The most difficult result of a Scorpio placement is that he/she may make the relationship self- defeating for both of you, particularly if you are not completely honest with each other. My thoughts are with you - both. Scorps are very affected, I think. They feel very much, I think. They do not like to demostrate your effect on them, I think. But, they do tend to remain loyal in their own odd way. I think their actions speak loudly. They tend not to use words.
I think they also use sex as a way to connect. Although they like sex and like most of us, could just have it for the sake of it, I think they also use it to be intimate.
I don't get them much, but I love 'em lots. Me, myself, and especially give up. Time to move move on to another sign.....

And if words are all you have or your not a professional mind reader then where do you have to go? All roads remain closed! you have nowhere to go!!! Sometimes you have to let go and when they decide they want to open up then they will, if they don't...you can't carry on a one-way relationship.

There comes a point when if you(Scorps) want something you'll have to open up and express how you feel. You may have been hurt before, but no one can make life decisions based on sex. Not even with a Scorpio, as tempting as it might be!!! You have to be able to relate to one another in the bedroom and everywhere else in your life. This is so important, and I wish that people would take the time to work at something they want instead of calling it quits. If you really care/love someone but you just can't get it together for these reasons, don't just give up! For me personally, there would never be a time that I would give up on someone even if they are the biggest pain in the ass, not if I truly loved them!!!

You made me laugh! I see what you mean about having to become a professional mind reader. No, I don't think we have to be mind readers. I think that Scorpios need privacy and space, as do we all. They just tend to need a little more a little longer. I believe in letting things develop at their own pace and letting people be who they are.
Scorps need space and need to be private. They appear to need to hold on to something. Because they are afraid I guess.
But there is so much in epxression and so many ways to express oneself. Actions mosre often than not speak louder than words. You could say yes, but be nodding your head no. No is eaht you really mean.
Body language doesn't lie and communicates about 70% -80% of waht we say. So no, I don't think it is about mind reading. I think it is about seeing the person for who they are. If a passionate kiss instead of :I really like you" is communicated, then so be it. If a hug says I missed you, then accept it.
That's all I meant by they don't use words as much as others might. Like Geminis, for one. Talk about going on at the mouth! No offence to nay gems.

Whatever got you there in the first place?? Is it worth working on!!! Mind you, I am talking about relationships, not one night stands or infatuation or a few great times together etc...I am talking about more than that!

I hope for a the non-communicative Scorps in the world that your body parts remain functioning. If that is the only way you can express yourselves, God forbid you end up paralyzied from the neck down. Then what??/ I'm not gettin on ya, just a thought! Not a very good one either. Ok, I'm through with this stuff! I'm gonna be like the rest of you and remain silent!!!
