Where are we?

Hi friends,

I've been watching this msg board for nearly two years. And this is my first post. I'm wondering if it is odd for a Scorpion to offer something too formal. Because most of the time we impress others with our extreme characteristics. But with my deep appreciation of your broad knowledge, I hope I can learn more from you dirty kings and queens of bed.

I'm looking for some quality posts on spirituality, global awakening and other matters specifically relate to us Scorpions. I've seen so many posts in this sub-forum mainly focus on compatibility and how 'freaky' and 'tough' we Scorpions are, not how highly sophisticated and intellectual we ultimately are. So I think I'm searching in the wrong area. Any help would be very cool.

I also see a lot of movements from other signs around me, especially Pisces, Aquarius and Virgo. The question of why are we Scorpions here on Earth and what is our true role of the scorpion in the zodiac spiritual game has been haunting me for years. If you guys have the same question please share your thoughts.

My thoughts perhaps rebirth/reincarnation...Reason...its in your make up and you certainly have the intelligence to figure some otherworldly stuff out...maybe also the sharing of this knowledge.
In the end you really want facts for beliefs I think.

The world is a vampire

I think about deep stuff all the time. My place in the world, processes of the universe, and all that. But no-one else does. And that annoys me. So I either stay quiet and be all broody, or get drunk, watch bad television and look up astrology forums talking about how wierd we all are.

I think Scorps gotta suffer..usually from pushing desire-fufillment to the extremes until it no longer satisfies.I think from that point the spiritual quest becomes more and more apparant.Not saying that it was not there before,but it seems to become the final path where hurts are healed and understood,emotions are managed better and wisdom is acquired,valued and lived by.I mean the great energies of scorpio are directed into the right areas and the rewards are positive for themselves..and others they come into contact with.But up until then,ye r all a pack of introverted freaks 😉

Something similar to what JayDee said. I think we are here to show the world the extremes of emotion, the extremes of survival, and that we/you/people can overcome any amount of suffering and still be (list of positive scorpio traits here).

@PiscesPerception: I'm from a background that has more than enough evidences. The human brain has been programmed to be narrow-minded so it's extremely hard to believe something new and to get away from an old belief. But I think we water signs are good at it. Because deep down inside we know that our sharp intuition is part of the infinite truth. Thank you for sharing your thoughts 🙂

@Antares: Hi man. Imagine you're alone in a hotel room. First you realize that you can call receptionist through internal phone line. You can also make outgoing calls too. Then you turn on the TV and there are many channels to choose from. Then you notice you can connect to the internet through that computer on the desk. You are not alone eventually when you tune yourself into the right frequency.
I have also had difficult time dealing with others' ignorance and spent much of my energy on alcohol, sex and drugs. But after a while wasting my time playing the 'Life' game in easy mode, I chose to try the harder mode. Believe me you can play it much better 😉

@QuietStorm: We Scorpions have been famous for how self-aware we are amongst all zodiac signs. Even though saying this somehow sounds delusional, I have to admit the strongest persons I've ever encountered in my life are Scorpio. We know how 'special' we are. But then it's a double-edge blade. It builds up our ego in such an extreme manner. I fell into the trap too and got so full of myself and my other Scorpion friends. I hope we can all wake up and know our true role: spiritual leaders of the world.

@JayDee33: You have a super valid point. We've been stuck in our own 'freaks' zone for a long time. Hope we can discuss more.

@Skykomish: Correct. More than anyone we know that pain and suffers are illusions and nothing is impossible. I just read a very interesting neurological facts lately regarding survival instinct. When we argue and defend ourselves to other opinions, a certain set of neurons fires up. These neurons are the same neurons which fire up when we try to survive in extreme conditions such as hunger, disaster or any other form of threats. This explains why when we too focus on our points and not listening to others, we become more and more narrow-minded and all behaviors are more impulsive.

Mine was a bit of a tongue in cheek comment but I see where you're coming from. In reality though I often get quite phased I never really go away from what it is I really want to do.

As to your actual question I always liked the idea of Scorpios as 'transformers', of ourselves and the world around us. I've always considered that a key goal in my life; to change the world for the better, eventually.

Also TV in hotels in awful, I'd probably just head out for a walk.
