Why do I feel violated when Someone asks personal

When people start asking me personal questions I start to get angry because it feels like my privacy is being violated, how can I change this?

It's not your responsibility to cater to rudeness. You throw the rudeness right back in their face. For instance, you might ask that person how much toilet paper they use to wipe their butt with.

Or, my favorite comeback to an invasive question or a rude statement is, "If you don't want me to embarrass you, I would stop right there". Never fails to shut the person up. I'm a Scorpio and I was just discussing this problem with someone the other day. It's a huge problem in society, this invasiveness. For instance, I hate it when someone who I just met literally five minutes ago, asks me out of nowhere if I believe in God. Or what religion I am. NUNYA! LOL!

I find that the sooner you make others aware of your boundaries, the more respect they have for you and the quicker you find out who's good for you to be around and who's not. Just my opinion/experience.

I usually tell them, "that's personal" alot of times, we see our bounderies but not those of others. I don't mean just asking personal questions. You know what I mean?

yes i guess we scorps jus dont like to get indepth with others but we do love hearing it from others. i feel violated too when people get personal with me, but when i do open up they run away and start saying that im outrageous. i mean c'mon, just coz i think differently? but i really love getting into others ans see how they work or what makes them tick? do you all scorps love that? but we leave a lil bit of mystery about ourselves..

You're absolutely right. I suppose that could be called hypocritical by some, but nobody's perfect. And yeah, I think we like to gather information about others and once we have a reasonable amount and feel like we know who we're dealing with and whether they're trustworthy and capable of keeping secrets, then we decide how much we're going to reveal about ourselves.

There's nothing wrong with being private. Setting limits is the best thing to do.

I love digging into personal stuff. I always thought if I had the right oppurtunity, I would make a great detective or private investigator. I think Scorps are like that too. They like to research and analyze the situations or people their invlolved with, am I right? But nobody better try that with me! I hate it when someone does invades my privacy!!!

VERY TRUE!! i wait before i can tell others about myself and i find it hard...u see unlike librans. they are blatantly upfront, just like that. thanks to all scorps so now i know it is our general trait. its great too coz we are like the secret keepers. to use it to help them or go against them 😉 and does anybody have any problems digging secrets from people? i dun...seems to come naturally. smooth talkers aren't we all? 😉

I for one have no problems finding out others' secrets--even if I don't want to know them in the first place. People seem to just confide in me, I think because they can tell I don't run my mouth.
