Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm a Taurus male with Aquarius rising, Gemini Moon and Mercury/Venus in Aries. I'm extremely interested in psychology and always analyze what people are thinking and feel like I'm outside the "box" of this world. My best friend sometimes gets annoyed that I try to analyze her feelings (Capricorn lol). Anyway, I seem to have the ability to put myself in another's shoes and know what they are feeling and therefore, able to analyze people on a psychological level. I also read that Sigmund Freud was a Taurus. Could there be some kind of connection?
Analyzing/Psychology
I agree that Freud and Jung were both so brilliant and fascinating. The amount of concepts that these two originated/developed, and that are still in use today, is staggering. Freud's are more widely recognized IMO. Jung's are almost as far-reaching but not as well-known. He actually invented the terms introvert/extrovert. The kind of psychological typology we see in today's Myers-Briggs was also started by Jung. I think his concepts of acausal synchronicity and archetypes actually provide the best way forward in understanding Astrology. There's a book called _Cosmos and Psyche_ by Richard Tarnas which demonstrates this - one of the most interesting books I've ever read.
Jung was a Leo but had Taurus Moon and a Taurus stellium. Freud (w/4 planets in Taurus) also had Gem Moon and Venus in Aries like you both.
An excellent intro to Freud is _What Freud Really Said_ by David Safford-Clark. It covers a lot of the misconceptions surrounding his work.

Yeah that's gonna be your gem moon mostly, and prob that aqua rising giving you more egotistical need to want give folks what you think they need.
I am also a Taurus gem moon, And although I do analyze a bunch with my Virgo rising, I keep it to myself mostly unless asked, so I never really get accused of crossing any boundaries.
Also with the Taurus influence (prob strongest in mercury), it has a thing were it has to be able to find a way to relate something to themselves to understand it.

I have the exact same placements...EXCEPT my Mercury is in Taurus.
Taurus:Sun
Gemini:Moon
Aquarius: Rising
Aries: Venus
I believe the Taurus/Sun aspect gives us a pragmatic, simplified outlook on life. We're able to take small hidden details, connect them, and offer a brief-straight-to-the point summary of a current situation. Sometimes predicting how the outcome will play out in the future. The Gemini and Aqua influences allows us to understand different people, and their personalities. A cosmopolitan view is always taken into consideration when analyzing a scenario.
The air placements also gives us the capability to emotionally detach ourselves from the problem in order to find a solution to the bigger picture at hand.
Haha, thank you all for your answers. @evalani, I wanted to know if there were people like me out there 🙂 I'll definitely let you know if i need to know something. @TaurusBull That makes a lot of sense, I can definitely detach and look at a bigger picture in order to find a solution to a situation. I think it's great that we can both emotionally detach and still feel what people go through emotionally.
